New to the Area? Here's a map of the campus! North Celadon is the town Indigo University calls home. Its a quiet town, and most residents make the commute south to Celadon for work. That said, North Celadon has plenty to offer in its own right. Genario's Eatery ~A sponsor of this year's Freshman Social. ~Offers pasta, calzones, and Castelia-style Pizza! ~4.6 stars on stockpile.com! North Celadon Pokemon Shelter ~Looking for volunteers! ~Hopefully some of our brightest students can provide forever homes for these pokemon! Monroe National Park ~Nestled north of town in the foothills near Mount Moon and Route 4. ~Extensive trails through the mountains and forests! ~Be careful, many areas remain uncharted! Woca Mart ~Located right next to campus! ~Offers a variety of groceries and other essentials. Regional Geography North: A 10 minute drive will bring you to the rough hills and forests separating North Celadon from Route 4. Historical records suggest early settlers explored the area but considered it unsuitable for a camp. Common pokemon include Spearow, Rattata, Magikarp, and Makuhita. East: The Route 5 forest begins. This expansive woodland area boasts several small lakes and thick canopy cover. Common pokemon include Pidgey, Oddish, Bellsprout, and Poliwag. South: The modest Route 49 takes roughly 45 minutes to travel by vehicle and leads to Celadon City from North Celadon. It winds through gentle, grassy hills with relatively tame pokemon. Common pokemon include Sentret, Snubbull, Lillipup, and Machop. West: The Viridian River flows from the mountains of Route 4, almost due south towards the ocean. Exercise caution as areas can be rough and dangerous to swim. Common pokemon include Ledyba, Surskit, Tympole, and Slowpoke. Edited by Ursus the Grim, Mar 14 2015, 07:42 PM.
