Stacy's Checks

Command: The Chatot apparently doesn't want to listen to what you have to say, which comes as no surprise seeing as it likes to talk more than listen. Nevertheless it keeps outside of arm's reach, probably because it sees you as a larger predator or at least something big enough to hurt it or stop it.

Amber's Checks

Charm: Although not the brightest of undertakings to attempt to draw in a Pokémon known for being wild and vicious and putting claw marks into rocks into a hug, Amber's happy-go-lucky attitude is infectious. Although the Weavile doesn't particularly enjoy the embrace, it doesn't attempt to tear her into ribbons either and is much more accepting towards the group as a result... save for Serenity, which it still perceives as a threat.

Amber has improved the Weavile's disposition from Hostile to Neutral.

Let's throw out an Edu: Technology to see if I can remember about or find anything on the PokeGear that the rambling professor might have missed. ([result]14&1:6:5,3d6,2,14&3d6+2[/result])

Stacy's Checks

Technology Education: As Stacy fiddles with the device, he can be expected to be impressed with what he finds. The PDX6 Luna units are all apart of the same set-up and sync back to the same database, so it looks like they share the same information. Stacy notices that his Wurmple is already entered into the Pokedex and is tagged with his name, along with the other Trainer's own Pokémon: Spheal with Nina's, Flabebe with Amber, and although she hasn't deigned to release it yet Serenity is in possession of what is known as an Igglybuff. He will also recognize a number of Pokémon scanned by the Professor in the few days he's had it, which include his Chatot and Weavile, and what he will recognize as the Hippopotas basking outside.

The Pokedex entries are succinct and give out only the most obvious of information, much unlike the Professor, but include URL links to web articles written by him with much more exposition which can be reached when Wi-Fi is available. The PDX6 also has a data storage app that can upload information to a cloud that all the new Trainers and Professor Willow and his associates can reach, allowing them to share uploaded information from documents and scans to pictures and videos. A contacts app also has a record of the other Trainer, Professor Willow, and their assigned radio frequencies that can be updated to include more people and cell phone numbers should they eventually gain the capability. The list of contacts also includes limited emergency radio frequencies, such as the police and the local Pokémon Ranger station.

Included is an app store available with a network connection, where one can get a number of simple free apps or pay for some very useful ones from a bookstore to GPS.

I'll go ahead and roll Edu: Pokemon ([result]9&4:2:1,3d6,2,9&3d6+2[/result]) to see if Stacy can recognize the creatures in the distance (and if the distance is too big, an additional Perception roll ([result]8&2:4,2d6,2,8&2d6+2[/result])).

Sorry, recognize the creatures and what they are doing. Can't edit posts with rolls in 'em.

Stacy's Checks

Perception: Stacy can't quite make out the figures in the distance, right now all he sees is hazy shapes and colors. A tawny blob, a fleck of maroon, and a couple spots of pale blue, but that might just be a mirage.

Pokemon Edu: Based on the movements of the tawny blob thing, Stacy can tell that this is a bird Pokemon acting aggressively. It's perpendicular to the other dots in the distance, meaning whatever it is it's probably not happy with them.
