Intuition roll! ([result]13&6:5,2d6,2,13&2d6+2[/result]) Do the bird Pokemon respond with any hostility towards Stacy, now that he's approaching? Is it clear why they're so pissed off at each other?

They don't seem to notice him, and the ones that do give him the most passing of attention. You can tell that they're fighting between species and it's competition for something that neither wants to share (that'll take a Perception roll along with Intuition to notice what). They're not likely to attack you unless you provoke them in some way, most likely by becoming an obstacle in what they're fighting over or outright attacking them. Throwing a Pokeball at one of the feathery things right now would do it, for example.

Might as well throw the perception check in too, then. ([result]7&3:2,2d6,2,7&2d6+2[/result])

Unfortunately, Stacy isn't able to see what they're fighting over... but Amber can. The ground appears to be littered with some sort of seed and it appears as if that's what the flock is squabbling over.

In addition, they both get a little bit of a bead of how many birds there are. They're jumping around all over the place so it's difficult to tell, but there are over a dozen of the little buggers but less than 18, probably 15-18 of them. There's a handful of Spearow and a few more Pidove than that, but the bulk of the flock is made up of a fluffy species of bird with feathered collars, pointed beaks, and chubby little bodies. Among these are two more birds of a different species altogether, small and sleek with plumage suited for browning grassland and long, skinny legs.

Since Amber's going along with it, I'ma throw out a Charm roll for Stacy. ([result]17&6:6:3,3d6,2,17&3d6+2[/result])
Hopefully feeding them will improve their disposition and remove most risk when trying to pass later.

Good success. The cookie crumbs add a positive modifier, and the birds are far from wanting to pluck out your delicious eyeballs.

Since he has no frame of reference, yogurt-desk guy buys your story. For now.

In addition, Walter's Pokedex result:
Walter's PDX6 successfully scans the Gothita this time. He learns that it is in fact a Gothita and anything you can glean from the PokeDex PDF Walter knows in IC. He's also aware of its vitality at the time of scanning: 27% vitality and one (1) injury.
