So this is where all the rolls will be made, just so that the IC can stay clean and be open to editing. If you have any roll you need to do, combat or otherwise, please do it right here with a brief description of what you're rolling for. I won't mandate that you link your roll result to the main thread when it happens, but you can if you want.

Serenity's Checks

Pokemon Education: You are aware that the Pokemon inspecting you is a Weavile, which you recognize as an Ice/Dark Type Pokemon. You know that they live in the North but don't know quite where and that they have wicked sharp claws that they use to communicate with somehow. You don't know its diet, pack behavior, or anything more specific than this. This particular Weavile appears to be Curious.

Stealth: You don't have any Body points, so your roll is actually 4. You make a small scene trying to be discrete and everyone notices what you're trying to do.

Intimidate: You get the Weavile to back away at you, hissing, and it seems to see you as a threat although it's keeping its distance.

Stacy's Checks

Pokemon Education: You will recognize what comes out of the Pokeball as a Wurmple. It's a Bug Type Pokemon that uses its spikes to defend itself. It eats leaves and has a natural affinity for tree sap. Birds are its natural predator, specifically Swellow and Starly, and it's known for its silk. You're aware right off the bat of its Threaded capability and that it has a Split Evolution, but you're unsure of how that works exactly. It lives in thick forests, but you're unsure as to where they're most populous but certainly not around Placid Hills, it's too sparse and grassy.

Amber's Checks

Pokemon Education to determine the clawed Pokemon: You know exactly what Serenity knows concerning Weavile and that the Pokemon you're looking at is one. In addition, you know that they live in caves and tundra, cold environments, and eat whatever they can get their hands on in the frozen wastelands in which they live. They're Stealthy creatures that can see in the dark, so they often hunt at night and in groups. This particular Weavile looks like it has a Keen Eye and appears to be prone to Teamwork, looking at how it assisted the Professor without any hesitation... but those claws look quite Vicious. In addition, you know that Weavile are social pack creatures and communicate with their claws by scratching markings into their surroundings.

Knowing this information, I'll require an Intuition check to get more information concerning this topic.

Pokemon Education to determine the talkative bird: Listening to the Professor, you can easily tell what kind of Pokemon this is: it's a Chatot! Chatots are notorious vocal mimics and common pets for the rich. Science says that their tongue allows them to imitate different sounds, although the Professor has just proven this false through his lecture. You know that they like to Chatter on and repeat what they hear, and this trait doesn't belong solely to this particularly noisy bird. They often live in rainforests when in the wild and eat fruit, seeds, and small Bug Pokemon. They're quite perceptive little creatures, too.

Professor Willow has also lectured you on the precise mechanisms to how a Chatot is able to mimic any sound they hear, their scientific name, defensive behavior, significance of their wing bone structure, and how humans came to use them as inspiration for building the metronome and as a symbol for the musical note.

Knowing this information, I'll require an Intuition check to get more information concerning this topic.

Pokemon Education to determine your own Pokemon: You can recognize the tiny Pokemon that comes out of your own Pokeball: Flabebe, the Single Bloom Pokemon. It's a pure Fairy type Pokemon and yours must be female because the whole species is. These Pokemon bond to flowers when they're born and nurture the flower to keep it alive, and the flower it bonds to will remain with it for its entire life-cycle in a mutualistic relationship where both creatures benefit. They can easily float on the wind and have a sweet, Alluring scent no matter the flower they pair with, and you know that they're extremely rare. Not because of their habitat or number, but because of their tiny size and fragility. Folk tales often feature them as helpful little sprites and shoe cobblers. Whatever it eats can't be very big, but you don't know what that is.

Nina's Checks

Pokemon Education: You correctly identify your Pokemon as Spheal, an Ice/Water Pokemon, and know a little bit more about these things seeing as they're of your favorite type. Spheals are round and slow, clumsy Pokemon that roll their circular bodies to get around, and that they can coat themselves in ice to perform an attack in this way. They clap to show approval and have soft and plushy fur, like a living stuffed animal. Spheals are often found on beaches and in icy terrain, like far up North but you can't say exactly where. They live in large colonies and prefer fish as their main meal, but will also eat algae and other roughage. Spheals are prized for their pelts and so are on an endangered species list, and a Trainer has to have a special license to own one. It doesn't help their survival that they tend to evolve slowly and are a little dim and clumsy.

Check 2 [result]4&1,1d6,3,4&1d6+3[/result]

Can I please change my background so that Intuition is Untrained instead of pathetic, and combat is pathetic instead of untrained. I did not realize I would need it for checks like this.

I'm the type of GM that likes to actually use things such as Intuition checks, no one truly realizes that the power of Common Sense and just knowing stuff solves a lot of problems. And nope! Sorry! I can't let you change ranks around after the game has started and we've started rolling, but what I can do is let you retrain that aspect for 1 Trainer XP down the road as an Extended Action.

Amber's Checks

Intuition concerning the Weavile: It has occurred to you through knowledge of how Weaviles communicate that the Professor's Weavile may have been trying to communicate with Serenity, and also may have been drawn to her because of the color of her nurse's uniform and especially the color of hair being similar to the color scheme of a Weavile and their plumage.

Intuition concerning the Chatot: You're pretty sure that the Chatot is quite fond of you to be imitating you the way it did and wants nothing more than you to cuddle it.
