I have a trainer, with focused command, mastermind, and most juggler features. Loki, a meowstic with prankster Kurado, a whimsicott also with prankster Dreadwing, a big charizard with solar power Sparkles, a carbink with simple and very low speed Kreig, a hydreigon with twisted power The issue I have regards a combination attack with all of the above pokemon. I start with loki and kurado. Loki sets up light screen and kurado uses sunny day. I use 1ap to lift frequency to allow this kurado gains +1 DEF from you are not prepared. Then I interupt with prankster to get kurado to use growth (x2 combat stages in sunlight) and then use you are not prepared to gain a further +1 SDEF. As kurado finishes growth I use round trip and tag in to switch in dreadwing. Dreadwing gains +4CS in SATK due to solar power and kurados growth. Loki then uses reflect and I use round trip to switch in sparkles. Due to sparkles rocking low speed of 2 sparkles gets a turn to copy dreadwings stats with psych up, you are not prepared grants another action to use sharpen and then is triggered again on sharpen to gain an additional 2 ATK combat stages Simple doubles these changes and round trip and tag in are used again to switch in kreig with +6ATK, +6 SATK, +2DEF, and +2SDEF a combat stages which predictably due to twisted power puts his attack in triple figures. He then one shots mew and my gm gets upset This is confusing from a command action point of view. As I have juggled my entire team into play all at once and used several interrupts. My question is have i done anything wrong other than ruin what should have been a chalenging boss fight. |

Let's break this down. You have two Command Actions from Focused Command. You spend two Command Actions to have your Pokémon use Light Screen and Sunny Day. So far so good. You then give up your next round's Command Action to use Growth and activate YANP to get an extra CS. Round Trip activates and you Tag In to switch in another Pokémon. Everything is still fine so far. HOWEVER, that's your next round's Command Action taken up, and you can't give up Command Actions beyond that. So everything starting from "Loki then uses Reflect" onward cannot happen. And you will not have a Command Action next round unless you use Focused Command, in which case you will have just one. If you use that to set up Reflect and then Round Trip with it, then you're done for that round. |

One thing needs clarification: Did you do all of this on the same turn? If so, you're heavily in the wrong, as you can only use Interrupts once per round. Interrupts give up your next Command Action, so you can't keep doing it over and over, and thus you wouldn't be able to use Round Trip after every attack. Also, you can only use You Are Not Prepared 3 times if you're Level 30+ (again, clarification). |

Yeah you need to clarify how many turns you did this in. R1: Loky -> Light Screen | Kurado -> Sunny Day | Need to pay 1 AP to lift Freq Restriction R2: Kurado -> Growth | Loki -> Reflect | Need to pay 1 AP to lift Freq Restriction R3: Sparkles -> Psychic Up + Sharpen, round trip to Krieg, Krieg Attacks | Need to pay 1 AP to lift Freq Restriction If that's how it went down, I think it tracks unless I'm derping on something. But from your description it sounds like you're saying you did this in 2 rounds, not 3? Also, You Are Not Prepared! is not meant to be able to trigger off itself by RAI, but I guess by RAW it doesn't specify that. Still, shame on you. |

This was done in one turn, command action wasn't interperated very well by our group so although I was asking about it the entire time the gm interperated it as with 2 command actions command 2 pokemon at any one time. As I was switching several times a round it seemed fine with everyone. RAW ,YANP can trigger 10 times a day and can fire of itself exactly once as you go providing you have the right move as you have to use a self status, second action at will status, and then free CS. Thank you for clearing that up, i will make sure he sees this as it didnt sit quite right with me either If I switch a pokemon that has just performed an interrupt out, can I use this new Pokémon as normal? Assuming I have one command action each round |

"Daily/10" does NOT mean 10 times per day. It means 1 time per day, plus an additional time per day per 10 trainer levels. This is explained on page 44, "How to Read Features" And no, you cannot switch a pokémon that has used an interrupt and then have the new pokémon act in the same round, unless you use Focused Command or a similar effect to get an additional command action. I think you're misunderstanding what Daily/10 means. The How to Read Features page (44) says the following about frequencies: So you would need to be level 20 to use YANP! 3 times. You have the one daily use, then an additional use for levels 10 and 20. If you have a Pokémon that's used an Interrupt by giving up your next round's Command Action, then you must wait until the round after the next until you can have a Pokémon act again, no matter if you switch your Pokémon or not. Command Actions exist per Trainer, and swapping Pokémon does nothing to affect your number of Command Actions. |

The general rule for battles is no matter how many Pokemon you have out, you only ever get one Command action per turn. Obviously this can be waived for double battles, but it's more to keep trainers from throwing out their whole teams at once during a battle and getting six Command actions.
Um... no, completely wrong. Daily/10 means you get 1+X uses of it per day, per every 10 levels.
If you've just used an Interrupt, that's consumed your Command action for next round, so no, you'd have to wait until the round after next. It would go as follows: Round 1 - Attack #1 + Attack #2 (Interrupt) Round 2 - No Command actions, no attack Round 3 - Attack #3 Edited by BatiroAtrain, Dec 25 2014, 04:15 PM.
