I was playing Pokemon Red purely for nostalgia reasons about a year and a half ago (because why else would anyone play Pokemon Red), and I went to use a Potion of some variety to heal my Fearow, which was engaged in heated battle with a LV 37 Slowpoke. Well, long story short, I used my Master Ball instead. Ouch. Fast forward to Cerulean Cave. I loved taking on the first generation with underleveled Pokemon. My highest level on my team was my Dugtrio at Level 50. Being the extremely brazen idiot I am, I made my way slowly through the cave until I got to Mewtwo. By then, only Dugtrio, Blastoise, and Raichu were left on my team. Mewtwo obliterated my Dugtrio, and I managed to Paralyze it with Raichu, but Raichu went down. A LV 39 Blastoise versus a LV 70 Mewtwo is a fight that normally can only be described as "Seppuku." I knew I couldn't run anyways, so I went for it. I had 80 Ultra Balls going into the battle, and by this time I had 24 left, Yet again, ouch. Luckily, paralysis kills Speed. Mewtwo was slowed down enough by it that Blastoise didn't become the Martyr of Cerulean Cave. And Mewtwo had to run out of PP with Recover eventually (Psychic ran out two turns in. Thank God for Max Potions and Max Elixirs). A long, long time later, Mewtwo wasn't attacking or healing. I just kept wittling down its HP, but I got impatient because it took too long for its HP bar to even approach midrange. I started throwing Ultra Balls at it. It probably got pretty pissed with all of the pelting in the head that it was taking (too bad Poke Balls and the like don't do damage...), but on my second-to-last Ultra Ball, it shook. Shook. Shook. Ding! It was done. I caught Mewtwo with a barely-evolved Blastoise. And there was much rejoicing. |

I swept my friend's team of Ubers in a Single Battle using nothing but a Cloyster. (Keep in mind we are both smart players.) Later on he challenged me to a rematch in a Rotation Battle (for one of the Friendly tournaments over Global Link). The result was nearly identical; the only difference is that, this time, he had Priority (in the form of Extremespeed Arceus). After Ferrothorn got that one out of the way, Cloyster swept the rest. There were also the times in Gen 4 and 5 when I swept entire teams of Ubers with Gyarados or Gliscor, but none of those guys knew what they were doing so I don't count that. Gyara sweeps are always fun, though. |

For 3 generations of games, I had never been so fortunate as to capture a Chansey. The little pink blob evaded me constantly to the point that I stopped caring about ever catching it, and instead focused on other things. One day I was out hunting Paras and Parasect in the Safari Zone for the Move Tutor (Fire Red), and had used 29 of my Safari Balls when a Chansey appears. I shrug, figuring why not give it a go, I'd already caught what I'd needed, and tossed the ball. Immediate capture. I have named it Fat Chance. There was also the time I got bored at a family picnic and wasn't paying attention to my Gold Version when I racked up 3 Jackpots in a row. I proceeded to buy a Porygon. |

You get it too! This is usually why DD twice is my first priority, because then I'm guaranteed to outspeed Jolteon. And then Earthquake it. |

Do you run Jolly, Max Speed and Attack with Life Orb? Or do you prefer a bulkier set for GDos? Speaking of competitive, I used to frequent Pokemon Online (before I was caught in an IP range ban because SIBLINGS used TROLL). I was never great at competitive, but I found out that a suicide lead Aerodactyl leads to intense laddering shenanigans (Deoxys-S be damned). |

I've never caught a Chansey, because bad luck. I do like leveling up a Happiny though. Chansey trolling the Sinnoh Elite Four is pure comedy gold. |

Jolly max Speed and Attack with Leftovers. Gyarados is bulky enough as it is.
I roflstomped Palmer's legendary team with a Blissey; does that count? I used the same Gyarados to solo the BW2 Elite Four rematch on Challenge Mode; does that also count? Edited by DNA, Dec 25 2014, 10:25 PM.

That doesn't only count, it happens to be a recommended form of trolling
