Well, that's not entirely true. Many of us (but not all, due to variation in health needs) physically can survive entirely on fruits and vegetables. I've been a vegetarian for over 18 years and I've been surviving just fine. But I think the issue is, animals eating other animals is a natural thing and humans aren't exempt from that. (Even "herbivores" such as deer will actually eat smaller animals such as birds if given a chance.) So, both in our world and the Pokemon world, most humans eat animals/Pokemon, and animals/Pokemon eat other animals/Pokemon. |
