#DOUBLE CRITICAL CHARM FAIL

Lorne freezes as he notices the spinach in his teeth. He immediately shuts his mouth and quickly leaves the desk once his Pokémon are returned to him. Thank goodness he realized that was there before he went to the NanoKlink offices. He makes his way up to his room, eager to pick the food out of his teeth and see what kind of free gift was left for them.

Kylar approaches the front desk. "Excuse me, is there a package for Kylar Stern here?"

The nurse at the front desk turns to Kylar. "Oh, I'm so sorry, we had a little rush there and I forgot you asked for a package! Kylar Stern you said?" She rummaged under the desk for a bit, then pulled out a small brown package. "Here you go!" Mandy's curly script was clearly identifiable on the outside, especially in that purple ink.

When Kylar opened it, he found a note and a small piece of electronics.

<Hi Ky Ky!!!
I was in the town square the other day and some guy was selling watches and gadgets and stuff out of a suitcase. This sounded like something out of a spy movie so of course I thought of you. Have fun with your new toy babes!!
~*~*~XOXOXOXO~*~*~
Mandy>

Camera Kit
Effect: A small camera, microphone, and speaker set affixed to the outside of a Poké Ball or Case. These allow a Trainer to remotely release and command their Pokémon or to remotely attempt to capture a Pokémon.

Kylar flips the note over, and quickly hides it the second he sees a pink bra. Oh my.

Whoever heads up to their suite will find that it is MUCH nicer than the dormitories you're used to. A huge comfy bed with fluffy pillows and sheets, a private bathroom with a roomy shower, a TV and mini fridge... There's a nice view of the museum of glass, with its wavy warped multicolored ceiling, which is mostly obscuring the gritty docks in the distance. On a table is a little gift basket with a thank you note from the nurses that contains:

- 1 Free Pass to the Museum of Glass
- 1 HP Up
- 2 Sparkling Lemonades
- 2 Bandages
- 1 Leppa Berry
- 1 Lum Berry
- 1 Medicine Case
Can be put on any Pokeball for a Standard Action, removed for Shift
Effect: A Medicine Case may be filled with an Antidote, Paralyze Heal, Burn Heal, Ice Heal, Awakening or Full Heal. This consumes the used item. When a Pokémon is recalled into a Poké Ball with a filled Medicine Case, the item is automatically used on the Pokémon. Filling a Medicine Case is an Standard Action. Medicine Cases may be refilled multiple times but may only have one sort of consumable in them at a time.

Kylar blushes hoping no one saw his face as he turned the note over. Mandy's gift was interesting. Kylar could do a lot being able to open a pokeball remotely. He just has to remember to retrieve those pokeballs. I'm sure Knuckles and crew would be pissed. Kylar looks to Ziggy and the rest of the group, "I'm going to go grab a room, take a shower and head to the Museum of Glass. Does anyone want to join me?"

Lorne is relieved to see that he'll be staying in a comfortable suite instead of those awful dormitories, and the gift basket is definitely a nice surprise. He'd never admit being wrong, but maybe sometimes good people do get rewarded, it seems. He adds the supplies to his travel bag, except for the HP Up, which he intends to use right away. He releases Seviper from her Pokéball and allows her to eat the vitamin while he primps in the mirror, making sure he looks absolutely perfect. He can't afford to look like a fool in front of these NanoKlink people.

Once everything is ready, he returns Seviper and makes his way out of the PokéCenter towards NanoKlink.

Lorne:
Lorne follows his Pokedex's map through "beautiful" Mukilcoma, and sadly it leads him straight into the industrial part of town. He didn't realize how clean Rainshadow had been until he had this as comparison. There were way more Rattata running about, and he swore he saw a Spearow fly off with a Trubbish in its mouth. At least it was still early in the day, so he felt relatively safe walking around.

But as he got closer and closer, he couldn't help but notice an awful smell growing and growing. Somewhere between farts and rotten eggs. It was pungent by the time he got to the NanoKlink office, which was next to a large warehouse that seemed to be the source of the stank.

The door to the tiny office swung forward, and a somewhat disheveled looking, chubby guy opened the door. "Oh, hey, Lorne right? Come inside and get out of the stink."

Lorne wrinkles his nose in disgust and gladly enters the office in hopes of escaping the odor. "What on Earth is that smell?!"

Lorne would be immediately relieved when the man shut the door behind him, and he realized that the office smelt completely fresh. There was a Maractus sleeping in a terracotta planter in the corner of the room, a beautiful aroma wafting from it.

"That's the old paper mill next door. Awful, isn't it? Welcome to purgatory." The man flopped into his office chair and started to roll across the room, expecting Lorne to follow. "I'm Matt. I'm technically your boss but it doesn't really matter. There are two rules here. 1. Don't be a dick and brew the coffee if you get here first. 2. Don't bother the delivery people." He rolled up to a closet door in the back, grabbed a key card from his stretchy key ring, swiped the electric lock, and flung the door open, revealing a tiny closet stacked with boxes.

"NanoKlink employees will have their own access cards to make delivery drops or pickups here. You will not have a card - right now NanoKlink thinks you've been naughty, which is the whole reason why they sent you here. Your sole job is to make sure no funny business happens. Not that it ever does. But on the rare chance, you press that red button under your desk and fend off the whoever needs fending off until help arrives. Other than that...I dunno, I hope you like reading, or meditating. I have a deck of cards if you're ever desperate." Matt did a little spin in his chair. "Any questions?"

"That's it? My job is to just push a button maybe sometimes?" He frowns, folding his arms over his chest. "I was one of their best salesmen, you know. My talents are being wasted with this. Surely a smart man like you could find a way for me to have a little more responsibility around here."

"You...want responsibility?" Matt looked at Lorne incredulously, then sympathetically. "Geez man, I guess no one filled you in. NanoKlink needs warm bodies here, so they send their goof offs here. Never truly understood why the whole thing wasn't automated. Figured they got some tax deduction having an office here, or just wanted people to be seen through the window to deter theft or somethin'." Matt shrugged. "But honestly I don't care. I basically get to sit here and do whatever I want for 8 hours while they pay me, and you should see it the same way. Play computer games, read, train your Pokemon...as long as you're not looking at porn, I don't care."

Right then, a strong looking delivery man came through the front door holding a giant box. He didn't even look at the two of them as he swiped the back room's keycard, and slipped inside, closing the door behind him.
