Jonathan: This time Buttercup barrels at the Goomy, but the Goomy just braces itself and takes the hit. Bide The user may use Bide as a Priority Move upon being Hit by a Damaging Move. During their next available turn, the user may Shift and then use Bide, causing all Adjacent foes to lose X HP, where X is the amount of Damage taken since declaring use of Bide (Loss of life through effects such as Poison is not ‘Damage’). It's the perfect opportunity for Billy to plant its leech seeds in the Pokemon's goo. The seeds begin to sprout, and green light forms like dew drops on the little leaves, then floats back to Billy. This seems to be perfectly offsetting the Goomy's ability to heal from the rain. Billy heals 7 HP |

Kylar: "Telling me Cascade is a huge fan doesn't instill me with a lot of confidence..." River sad with a dry laugh. "But if it'll make you all feel better, I'll talk to her." Ziggy: "Thanks! Oh, they're so special I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Clover," she said in a fit of giggles. "Oh boy, that cupcake from earlier must be kicking in. Alright, focus Clover!" she said with a laugh. "Go, Croagunk and Marshtomp!" In front of her now stood a frog Ziggy recognized - Kylar had caught one at the Power Plant - and some sort of happy looking, big amphibian. Croagunk speed: 15 Clover speed: 10 Marshtomp speed: 5 #Ziggy's up first |

"All right, everybody, I can take your questions one at a time. Yes, you there," he points to the customer who spoke first. "That's a very good question, and the answer is quite simple, really! Team Eco is just a bunch of nature-loving hippies. We at NanoKlink specialize in the greatest technologies available. If they were able to hack us, they certainly wouldn't have to resort to ruining perfectly good fundraising events. I guarantee you, these devices will protect your Pokémon." Charm: [result]11&4:5,2d6,2,11&2d6+2[/result] And to the second customer: "Yes! Yes, these are all the products we have. They are limited edition and not for mass production. I highly recommend buying them now before they're all gone. The cost is certainly worth the well-being of your Pokémon. I take my belt with me every time I leave the house!" He's expecting people might not like the prices, which is why he's given himself some leeway for haggling, though he certainly won't offer to lower the price on his own. Guile: [result]19&4:6:5:1,4d6,3,19&4d6+3[/result] Finally, the suspicious man gets a frown from Lorne. It's almost insulting to say he can pass as one of those crazy extremists. "Really, do I even look like I could pass as one of those hippies?" He adjusts his tie, hoping to make himself look as corporate-y as possible. "Team Eco is just a bunch of whiny children who like to make messes for attention. NanoKlink is trying to help you." Command: [result]14&4:2:5:1,4d6,2,14&4d6+2[/result] |

Ziggy: "Wow, your Pokemon are fast! Croagunk, slow down that Yanma!" The frog wound up, and flung a poison barb at Lucifer. Poison Sting AC(2, Poison on 17+): [result]5&5,1d20,0,5&1d20[/result] Poison Physical (super effective): [result]32&8,1d8,24,32&1d8+24[/result] "Okay Marshy, focus! Take out that Voltorb before it finishes charging!" The frog nodded, and it's throat filled as if about to croak - and from it's mouth it shot a giant blob of mud at Amp. Focus Training on Marshtomp Mud Bomb AC(4, -1 Accuracy on 16+): [result]11&10,1d20,1,11&1d20+1[/result] Ground Special: [result]39&1:10,2d10,28,39&2d10+28[/result] |

Lorne:
The crowd chuckled. He was probably so right about Team Eco, what would they know about technology? "NanoKlink, why didn't you say so," said one customer with a nod.
Lorne can clearly see the crowd start to grow hungry for the products, looking at each other to see if someone would try it first, but not wanting to miss their chance. More and more people were paying attention now, trying to figure out what was for sale. Limited edition NanoKlink products were always the best. Sure, they usually came out with the exact same thing a week later, mass produced and at the same price, but the different marketing always seemed to distract people enough from noticing.
"Hmmm, 'spose not..." the man grumbled, unable to deny Lorne's dapper attire. He started rummaging through his wallet. "If I buy a belt, will ya' throw in some chips?" That started the floodgates. People were clamoring to be the first to buy, Lorne's fear mongering working just as he expected. Tristan: #Feel free to wrap up things with Hugo before this happens Suddenly, Tristan can hear a ruckus growing a couple booths down from him. It seems like a large section of the crowd is suddenly paying attention to some booth, vying to buy whatever someone was selling. |

“I’d heard about that, but haven’t ever seen it in person. I guess I didn’t know what to expect. Maybe he and I can work to overcome it together… I have a flair for helping cover Pokemon’s weak spots. It might take some time, but I bet we can bring him back from the brink.” Looking down at Reginald he can tell that a bit of the light has gone out of Reggie’s eyes.
“Oh yeah?” Tristan says with a smirk. “I’d love to play show and tell with my techniques. Care to trade trainer information?” Suddenly, the two of them are interrupted by a commotion coming from a few booths away. What was happening down there? Something was selling like Castelia Cones and it had people whipped into a frenzy. Tristan looks to Hugo with one eyebrow raised. “Any ideas?” Edited by joviality, Nov 15 2014, 05:55 PM.

The mud bomb looks like it is about to connect with Amp, but then the voltorb suddenly becomes a blur and is 5 feet away, safe. #Amp uses protect, attack misses Amp looks pissed off, and fully charged. Amp uses spark on Croagunk AC(2, paralyze 15+): [result]6&3,1d20,3,6&1d20+3[/result] (inc training, order, AP) Physical Electric: [result]47&1:8:5:6,4d8,27,47&4d8+27[/result] #Lucifer is gaining 1 speed CS each round from Speed Boost The poison barb falls about 5 feet behind Lucifer, too slow to catch the quickly accelerating dragonfly. Suddenly, the dragonfly plays a sweet high tune, like a violin, causing those who hear it to begin to tear up with the beauty of the song. Lucifer uses Attract on both pokemon using Sonic Courtship(makes attract cone 2 and affect all targets) Attract AC(2): [result]4&1,1d20,3,4&1d20+3[/result] (inc. orders, training, 1 AP) infatuates target Ziggy hears the beautiful song, and runs with it. Ziggy plays a few licks on his guitar which morphs into a full inspirational ballad, driving his pokemon onward. #Ziggy uses bardic flair on the pokemon as a full action. Then focus training as a swift action |

Seeing that he's won the crowd over, Lorne grins as he starts taking orders. "I suppose I could agree to a bundle deal. Chips 10% off when purchased with a belt." It's not the biggest discount, but still puts Lorne nicely above his minimum requirement, and hopefully will incite people to buy more things under the illusion of saving money. |

"River, trust me. I don't think it either. I'm as skeptical as you. Would you mind answering some more questions. We could even go sit down of you'd like?" |
