Ziggy Ziggy's band practice is a wet one, since it's still drizzling outside - but at least it was a warm day. A handful of people are in the park with their Pokemon, and some of them seem to be enjoying the extra background music, but all in all it's pretty mellow. "Vi, vivi!" Victory tugs at Ziggy's jacket, ending one of his songs. "Villiioon," she says, pointing to some of the gaswork structures nearby, clearly having spotted something. As Ziggy move slightly closer to get a better look, he sees...the NanoKlink logo? Was this some sort of advertisement in the park? But as he watches, he realizes the metallic gear seems to be floating in the air, moving around gently. This wasn't the Budew talking - it was a Klink! #Another Perception roll for Ziggy (not Victory) and anything else |

Ziggy: As Ziggy gets closer to the structure, he notices that there are more floating gears than he thought - another Klink lazily floats nearby, and there seems to be a bigger gear floating behind some pipe. They don't seem to care about his presence. |

Ziggy: The two Klinks float closer, intrigued by Metalhead. The Pokemon start to make odd metallic sounds at each other - it sounded kind of awful actually, but they seemed to be enjoying their chat. The Klinks bobbed around Metalhead, curious about him, as if they had never seen something like him quite before. Suddenly, the larger gear floats from around the pipe and rushes toward Metalhead, clanking what can only be described as angrily. "KLANK KLANK, KLANK KLANK!!" It's gears begin to rotate faster as it puts itself between Metalhead and the Klinks. Klank used Autotomize For the remainder of the Encounter, the user’s Weight Class is one value lower, to a minimum of 1. If the user can, the user’s Speed is raised by +2 Combat Stages. The Klink seem to automatically float toward the larger gear. They into the machine, gears all turning, start to glow. Klinks use Charge If the user performs an Electric Move on their next turn that deals damage, add its Damage Dice Roll an extra time to the damage. Raise the user’s Special Defense 1 Combat Stage. Klank initiative: 15 Klink A: 3 Klink B: 3 #Ziggy has the space to command 2 Pokemon this battle |

Ziggy: The Klank's metallic coating begins to glow, and seems to be thickening. Iron Defense +2 Defense combat stages Metalhead sends a confusing sound toward Klink B, who starts to move erratically on the machine. DJ Rain, not exactly used to its new body, what with the limbs and all, nearly blows up his own team with a mud bomb. Thankfully due to Ziggy's help in focusing the Pokemon, it just narrowly misses everyone. Klink A sends a zap toward Metalhead. "Cascade may be a little more out there than anticipated, but this makes no sense." Kylar had been questioning his thoughts a lot lately. This really made no sense whatsoever. For all he knew, River was clinically depressed and needed real help, but Kylar kept feeling like something was watching him. "Cascade, this makes no sense to me either. I hate to admit it. This may seem odd, but I get the awkward feeling you described, the longer I stay in the gym. Are there any mediums in Rainshadow who would be able to potentially shed some light on this?" Kylar never bought into all that afterlife stuff, but this feeling. He couldn't describe it. Intuition for that feeling of being watched [result]7&2:5,2d6,0,7&2d6[/result] Edu: Occult for that same feeling [result]6&5,1d6,1,6&1d6+1[/result] |

Kylar: Kylar's gut tells him something is definitely "off," but he still can't pinpoint it exactly. Cascade thinks for a second. "I don't know any mediums, but there's Xatu's Oddities. It's an Occult shop, though I'm banned from going in for some reason. Maybe you could try to find help there? I can have staff keep looking for clues while you're gone." |
