And Your Enemies Closer raises a few red flags for me. At cap, it requires three skills at LV5, which isn't that hard, and it equates to essentially FOUR negative combat stages on all enemies, with infinite range. At the very least, make it so that it only applies to enemies within a certain range of you (3 metres is a good rule of thumb). I'd also do it so that it just lowers 1 stat by 2 CS for each rank (picking a different stat on the 2nd rank), but that is just me. For Keep Your Friends Close, I would assume, based on flavor, that the feature does NOT apply to yourself. That should probably be noted. I have nothing else to say at this time, as everything else looks fine by me. |

Careful. Don't burn yourself out. So. Godfather. We're doing this. The class seems to be based around the idea of favors for the most part (so... every single character in Animal Crossing?), but also bounces back and forth between being a social class and a combat class. I'm going to go over each feature individually. Godfather, Base Feature. This immediately sets off sirens in my head because you are manipulating other characters, both NPC and player characters into doing an action they may not do. In addition, there's no supernatural cause for it, and RAW, it ignores the fact that you may have damaged the goods while doing that NPC's favor or treated them poorly. I'm all in favor of a social class, but you have to be able to do it without forcing another character to do something. A Small Favor creates a sudden jump from a social class to an Active Pokemon Support Class. Scene/10 trigger that trades one hit that would miss for another. Suddenly you have a viable way to make Focus Blast hit. Maybe clarify that the result does not trigger effects caused by dice rolls like Flinch on a Headbutt? An Offer They Can't Refuse is back to the social class, and this one is in the right direction. While you're not directly manipulating another's actions, you are improving your ability to do so via roleplay and skill checks. A solid feature. A Big Favor brings us back into combat, but this time, it's trainer combat (0_o), and the feature grants two very solid moves and gives those moves bonus effects. I would like to suggest that the bonus effects get made into another feature that has A Big Favor as a prerequisite at the very least so you don't give too much power to this one feature. Keep Your Friends Close is a Passive Support Role, and a very powerful one. +2 Accuracy to all allies, regardless of distance? That's SCARY. I might put a range cap on that (since you are keeping your friends close), but otherwise, I'd let it slide. And your Enemies Closer is also a Passive Support Feature, but this time, it's much worse. You're giving nearby enemies a to-hit bonus in exchange for reduced combat stages, but the stages can be random, and that means you have to keep track of constantly changing stat drops. That's a pain in bookkeeping, and can really slow the tide of a battle. Drop this feature. Kiss of Death brings us back to Trainer Combat, and is making me wonder a bit why this class lacks stat tags. In short, the concept is good, but the execution is all over the place. I can't tell what it is this class is trying to actually do. I like the idea of it working around favors, but that might not be a "Godfather" kind of thing to do, so take it with a grain of salt. |

This WAS originally a pure social class, but I found a lot of non-social things that seemed to fit. I'll do some more work on it, tilt it back towards Social and Passive Support. Once again, thanks for the input! |
