Vestige Prerequisites: None Scene, Free, Trigger Triggers when you are knocked out. Effect: Use your Vestige’s power. Frequency rules for vestige powers ignore the fact that you are unconscious. Choose a Vestige when you gain this Feature. Vestiges Looking for feedback and suggestions! Edited by rlrichey, Oct 17 2014, 02:14 PM.

What concerns me the most is the Life feature. Trainer healing isn't something frequently done, and more often than not it involves draining AP to be used, or via the use of a specific move on a class (I'm talking about Medic and Drain Punch, et al, respectively). If that only triggered once per scene while you were unconscious, that'd be fine. Vestige of Strength I have a similar complaint against; At-Will attacks can go up to DB8 without STAB - unless you count things like Zap Cannon. The others look okay to me. |

The purpose of the feature is to give a player something to do every turn, even if they're knocked out, so I want them to feel persistent. Do you think Vestige of Life would be better if it were Temp HP or something? Or did you have something better in mind? What if Vestige of Strength was only Struggle Attacks? |

If VoS was only Struggle Attacks, sure, that could work. For VoL, a temp HP thing could work, but for something to do every turn, one idea is you could set an Aqua Ring-style effect on a single ally (just one, not changing your mind), for as long as you're unconscious (i.e. recover 1/10 max HP per turn) - this could be combined with Temp HP to give them a constant Temp threshold. |

I'm pretty picky in the case of VoL because I'm trying to increase player involvement. With "Aqua Ring" the player could leave the table and say "You have a coat. Track it on your turns," and not come back for 30 minutes. But the theme of the others is that it still allows a player to make a choice every turn, which I think is important. Of course, if it's not a good fit I could just remove that vestige... |
