Soon, the door to the briefing room creaked open, had it squeaked so loudly before? In hobbled Dr. Hercules. At his side was a gorgeous, young blonde. No doubt, another one of Hercules's 'interns'. The pair took to the front of the room and the old doctor cleared his throat. "Mias... Moon... Riley... Tolvak." In between each name he drew a deep, throaty and ragged breath. He looked over the group and took another raspy breath. "Correct?" He asked, looking to curvy blonde in the lab coat next to him. She nodded. "Good...Go on." He breathed and the girl who stood next to him scurried out the door. "You'll have to... excuse an old man... who can barely speak..." The intern wheeled in an older model projector (current by OOC standards) and a laptop. She plugged it all in and projected onto the wall behind Hercules, a picture. Depicted was a truck. This was not an ordinary truck though, no. This was a Von Gio armored car. "Stealth mission... Of a sort." He coughed a disgusting, wheezy cough and motioned at his intern. "Uh, um... Yessir." She moved in between the doctor and the group as Hercules hacked away. "Your, um, mission..." She spoke softly and sweetly, "...is to hit this armored car. You have to steal all of the money, tech, pokemon and anything else that may be in the car and bring it back here." He cleared her throat and pulled a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "You are to go about this any way you see fit, though if you should be seen and/or apprehended by any local authorities you are to claim no affiliation to Team Rocket or Von Gio. Questions?" |

Zana raised an eyebrow at the hacking old coot - ahem, Dr. Moon's esteemed father figure - and then turned to the assistant. "How many trainers will be with the truck? And where are they driving to and from? If we don't want to make a scene, maybe we should stop them en route, somewhere less populated." She stopped to think about the assistant's last point, and looked a bit skeptical. If they did get caught - not that she was planning on it, but you never know what shenanigans Mr. High As a Kite might pull - were they going to be left high and dry? Or did Team Rocket have a back out plan to get them out? She didn't voice that question though - no outward signs of doubt were permissible. |

Can't be found out as Rockets, huh? Gavin considers for a moment... before lifting himself out of his chair, forcing his Venonat to hop off his lap onto the table. Then, without a word, he casually removes his jacket-hoodie followed shortly after by the black Rocket shirt. As he's doing this, what's immediately noticeable is that his body is in a lot better shape than his hygiene, his upper body appearing very toned and lean, if somewhat pale. Shortly after, though, his body is covered again by a ratty old tank-top pulled from his pack, which is subsequently covered by his jacket-hoodie. He bundles up the Rocket shirt and holds it up. "Do I get a locker?" |

An armored truck. Obviously a straight fight was out; those things were built like tanks! And forcing the car off the road might damage the valuables inside, so that was out too. No, this mission would need more class. "Provide further specification on car model and driver figures. Does car have significant technological process? Possibility for Doctor Moon to hack GPS system and guide car to discrete ambush point. If drivers unskilled, possibility for charismatic or tricky grunts to fake roadblock and detour. Beyond that, Doctor Moon's various gadgets can keep car permanently parked, doors forcibly unlocked for driver take-down. Loot unguarded car like treasure chest." Looting a Von Gio van in the middle of their founder's party. Was the CEO trying to personally acquire off-the-books items? Attempting to frame a buisness for the theft? Fake an attempt at disgracing the buisness-side? There was clearly more significance to this mission than the presentation let on, though the Clefable would not press his luck asking. Need to know, and he didn't need to know. Nor did he really care either way. Business as usual. Edited by MasterBlade, Oct 17 2014, 08:00 PM.

Zana's eyes go wide as she gets a glimpse of Miasma's physique. Not that she'd seriously consider that with the stank, but surprising none the less. She shot Echo a "Well ain't that some shit" look from across the room. |

Echo thought for a moment when the armored car came on, then smirked. Insurance fraud, probably. Take some valuables, stash them back where they came from, let the business side file a claim for damages. No doubt they had insurance on everything in that van and would make a pretty penny from this little 'heist.' Smart move. She glanced over and raised a brow at the hobo stripping - if he took a damn shower, she'd hit it - and nodded. "Yeah, you can rent one in the locker room, or you get one if you move into the dorms. I'd just leave your stuff in the car, personally; we sure as hell aren't gonna touch it." An idea popped into her head. "...Hey, how strong are your acids? If Moon and I can't get control of the ship's tech, Zana and I can distract and knock out the guards while you and Moon get the stuff from the back. Using acid to rot through the locks might work." Liz noticed the look from Zana and gave her a short nod in return. That was some shit, indeed. Edited by HeadPikachu, Oct 17 2014, 08:10 PM.

The blonde cleared her throat again, though this time is was to steal back the attention of the plotting grunts. "The truck is acidproof, fireproof, bulletproof, highly conductive and shock absorbent. It can survive running into a boulder at high speeds, having a boulder dropped on it from high speeds, and being dropped on a boulder at high speeds. It functions at optimal efficiency in all temperature ranges and has state-of-the-art computer security software." Her air started to give way towards the end, but what could you expect of an armored car in a world where there were rampaging monsters and power hungry hackers to fend off. "But that doesn't make the drivers incompetent." She picks up her glasses and a devious shine reflects off of them. "This won't be easy." A hint of a grin can be seen on her face. That is until Hercules shuffles by her and her expression quickly turns to shock. His coughing fit seems to have subsided and he is ready to leave. "Oh, uh... Everything you need is in this folder." she points to a manilla folder before escorting Hercules out. Maybe she wasn't who she let on. The folder did in fact contain a ton of information, including the number of drivers (3), their positions (two up front, one in back), and the pokemon they would have on them: Clark St. James (Driver): Cacnea Raichu Koffing Darrel Monroe (Passenger): Marshtomp Machop Ekans Neil O'Reilly (Back): Bisharp Houndoom Lickitung It also includes the route. It is primarily a city skirting route that stays away from main roads until only half a mile from its destination, a research lab in Hoenn. One that is less than a mile away from Von Gio Manor. Any other questions about the contents of the folder? |

Well, there goes most of their plans. Liz thought for a short while, leaning back in her chair. The Zubat seemed to have recovered, and hopped back onto her trainer's shoulder. "...An Ambush would probably be the way to go. I don't think an armored truck will stop for hitchhikers, even if I have my tits out, so I could have Kat fly in to confuse the driver and cause some chaos. Hopefully, they'll crash into a tree and be knocked out, letting us steal the keys, break in, and grab the stuff." |

Gavin glances at Echo as if to answer her, but then the blonde woman shoots down the idea of corroding their way into the van. "So the van can't be busted. 'Kay," he says, shrugging. He points a thumb at his big-ball-of-fluff pokemon. "The Venonat's got a Psychic-TM on it, so it can open the van from the inside. Getting in won't be a problem. We just gotta figure out how to stop the van." "...An Ambush would probably be the way to go. I don't think an armored truck will stop for hitchhikers, even if I have my tits out, so I could have Kat fly in to confuse the driver and cause some chaos. Hopefully, they'll crash into a tree and be knocked out, letting us steal the keys, break in, and grab the stuff." "It got Confuse Ray on it? If your guy hits the driver, mine can grab the wheel and force it off the road, maybe roll the van if we get lucky." |

"Doctor Moon believes Electric Shock Absorbtion applies to vehicle hull. Direct hit to open electronics inside van might allow for bypassing resistant hull and keeping vehicle grounded. Additionally, drivers are likely not immune to shock either." Just about all of the Clefable's bags of tricks were blown on that vehicle's invincibilium hull. You think that controlling the company would have allowed the CEO to use a more defunct van to make the job easier. Granted, that might leave a paper trail to follow. Speaking of, there was the matter of a talking ball of pink fluff sighted at a recent crime. putting two and two together would make it very easy for the job to be associated with the Rockets. "If Grunts will excuse Doctor Moon, disguise must be donned to hide Rocket identity. Be back in 15 minutes. Have game plan ready by then." It was a bit early for Halloween, but the doctor's costume for this year would certainly be helpful with keeping low during this crime. Edited by MasterBlade, Oct 17 2014, 09:31 PM.
