*Alright the moment you have been waiting for Sand and Tides!!!

The island of cinnibar, a bustling port city. the docks are full of people and pokemon. there is trading of good going on, ships unloading there cargo, children running about the cobble stone streets. In port there are 4 gallons, the reaver, the cutter, the ship, and the wraith. A young man with vivid blue hair is being thrown of a ship for being a stowaway. captain/ DONT EVER STEP FOOT ON MY BLOODY SHIP AGAIN YOU LITTLE BLUE HIRED MAGGOT!!

A red hair lady is walking gracefully through out the streets with a helm under her arms. she doesnt seem to be paying attention to the hussle and bussle of daily life.

on the street corner near the ships a juggler is entertaining the local youths and fencing money from unsuspecting bystanders as the children laugh and point to him as he runs a game that involves picking the shell that a stone is under

in a tavern we find a regal looking man having a drink and making conversation about nothing in particular with a few of the other costumers.

on the edge of the port there is a figure looking at the events as they transpire. a grin crosses his face.

"The volcano? I cannot imagine anyone in their right mind willing to store their belongings near such a deathtrap." Mainly, though, Dust simply wasn't too fond of the heat.

As the group starts moving, he follows closely behind the captain and continues speaking. "Do we have any stories to go by? Any clues to where he may have located his stash?"

"Hmm, yes. A single clue."

"Are you ready?"

.....

"It is somewhere in the volcano."

"What, were you expecting a map? If there were more hints then there wouldn't be a treasure to find! However, we do have one secret weapon that noone else on this island has. Any treasure hunter who's scaled this volcano thus far has only ever used a pokemon from this region alone, maybe Johto too. But what I have in *this* ball are eyes far more eccentric."

"Polly, show yourself!"

Norman hurled a pokeball into the sky, releasing a very foreign and very colorful bird with a musical note for a face. "This is Polly, she will be our eyes and ears for spotting the treasure." "This is Polly, she will be our eyes and ears for spotting the treasure, *SQAWK*."

"...Brilliant. So we are searching blindly. In that case..."

Dart grabs a pokeball from the satchel over his shoulder, and lightly taps the front to release a a blue and purple bat-like creature with a disproportionally large mouth and a disturbing lack of eyes.

"This is Dash. He'll just be our ears."

Wordlessly, Victoria shuffled the shells about, switching and knocking and spinning them around faster than the eye could discern. As she did this, she stealthily let the rock slip from one of the shells, grasping it with her pinkie and holding it in her fist as she spun the shells about. All three shells empty, she gestured to them once more with a sly, cocky grin. The knight picked the left one. No dice.

"No luck, huh?" she casually muttered.
"Looks that way," replied Vicky, scooping up the ten pence and pocketing the coin.
"Have a nice day," the knight waved, mounting her Tauros and trotting off atop its mammoth frame.
"Come back if you're feeling lucky!" Victoria called after her. Sucker. Didn't even suspect a thing. As she dug a hand into her pockets to feel the cool, smooth metal of the coins she had swindled, to hear their soft, melodious clinking in her ears, Rascal tugged on the leg of her trousers, whining to disappear to the docks. He hopped about like the excited little mongrel he was, swishing his tail expectantly and sticking his panting tongue out in the heat. Victoria shrugged and shouldered her pack, leaving her shell game behind. But as she did so, a large, impressive shadow passed overhead, sending the people of the little port city into a slight panic. She was too busy paying attention to the people to get a good look at the... whatever it was, but she knew that it was flying and it was huge. Rascal just tried to follow the shadow, cocking his head back and forth at the mysterious thing. Victoria craned her neck and squinted at it, but it was long gone before she could get a good look.

"Wow. That looks like a whole lot of not my problem..." Vicky she remarks to herself. Whatever it was, didn't matter. It's not like she planned on staying for the long haul anyway. Best time to leave was when everyone was running around like Combuskens with their heads cut off. Vicky clicked her tongue twice for Rascal to follow her when she overheard a conversation. A particularly interesting conversation. The legend of the Fool's Gold up in the Cinnibar Volcano. Rumor had it that no one found the treasure because everyone who tried died in the caves. Vicky thought otherwise. She thought that the reason no one had found it by now was because there was never any in the first place. Just a rumor to get stupid tourists and adventurers to spend a fortune on things like potions and equipment only to starve to death in a cave once they got lost. But Vicky would listen to this tall tale. Not because she wanted the Fool's Gold, as she liked to call it. There wasn't any, but there was gold to be had. And it lined the flamboyant drunkard's pockets. She'd wager he'd pay handsomely for anyone stupid or greedy enough to ante up. Stupid she was not, but greedy on the other hand...

Finally, Victoria relented from hanging around the conversation to actually entering it herself.
"This is Polly, she will be our eyes and ears for spotting the treasure," the flamboyant man claimed of his technicolor bird.
"And what of your hands for taking?" Victoria interjected, stepping forward. "I'm sorry, I couldn't help but overhear," she chuckled sarcastically. It the flamboyant man was anything, it definitely wasn't subtle. He'd practically been begging her to join his mad troupe. She admired her nails as she spoke further to the hunter and crazed captain... if he really was one.
"I'd wager that you could call me a lass-of-all-trades. No doubt that if what you say is true, there would be more than a few tricks and traps to stumble over. I believe I can handle those woes of yours... for a modest fee, of course." Victoria did have doubt to what the flamboyant man claimed. A whole bucket full of it. There was no gold up there, but she needn't let him know that she didn't believe. And she began to pour on the charm.
"I mean, something as large and menacing as what you've seen pass overhead is much too dangerous to handle for free. Could you imagine the manner of man who could stop that thing? He'd have to be some sort of professional adventurer! They would sing songs in the bar about him for ages I bet they would..."

Victoria smiled at the man. She knew she need only convince him and him alone, and he seemed thick enough. Lazy pulling an apricorn ball from beneath her sash, she recalled the Eevee back to her.
"So let's discuss rates," she stated a little more seriously.

Wow. Good hands coming from the woodworks; this crew gathering thing was easier than he thought.

"The rates... is that we split every found treasure evenly amongst the crew. If ye were to join, everyone gets a 5th o the gold from chests and bounties. As for objects that can't be split, such as equipment and pets, we civilly discuss who wants or needs it at the time. Anything you earn through your own sweat and blood alone, such as pickpocketing a guard or pinning down a hunt, is yours to do with as ye please."

In other words, everyone shares because pirates and friendship go along swimmingly.

"There ain't no reason any one crewmember should be taking a bigger haul than the other; a captain's useless without a crew and a crew is useless without each other."

Kerrigan gives the blonde woman a slightly annoyed look as she follows her and wants to join the crew. "You talk a lot, but what do you really know about this event or the treasure. I don't see how a shell woman would be helpful." Victoria seemed to be all talk and no action and reminded her of the Order in a bad way.

"Anyway, are we going now or are we waiting for the volcano to erupt?"

*Our newly created crew minus Trinidad start heading towards the volcano. Chatot is leading the party towards the base of the volcano. A Treeline is coming into view and an old mareep trail is visible although over grown with vegetation*
