*Alright the moment you have been waiting for Sand and Tides!!!

The island of cinnibar, a bustling port city. the docks are full of people and pokemon. there is trading of good going on, ships unloading there cargo, children running about the cobble stone streets. In port there are 4 gallons, the reaver, the cutter, the ship, and the wraith. A young man with vivid blue hair is being thrown of a ship for being a stowaway. captain/ DONT EVER STEP FOOT ON MY BLOODY SHIP AGAIN YOU LITTLE BLUE HIRED MAGGOT!!

A red hair lady is walking gracefully through out the streets with a helm under her arms. she doesnt seem to be paying attention to the hussle and bussle of daily life.

on the street corner near the ships a juggler is entertaining the local youths and fencing money from unsuspecting bystanders as the children laugh and point to him as he runs a game that involves picking the shell that a stone is under

in a tavern we find a regal looking man having a drink and making conversation about nothing in particular with a few of the other costumers.

on the edge of the port there is a figure looking at the events as they transpire. a grin crosses his face.

"Kuh!" Vicky scoffed at the unconscious little bugger. With the nifty little love chomp it gave her, she thought that it'd put up more of a fight. Figures. No strokes of luck today. And an unlucky thief was quickly a dead one. She could feel the discomfort course through her body, every inch of her throbbing in rebellion to the pain. It'd taken her a moment to notice from the adrenaline pumping through her veins, but her chest was rising and falling quickly in exhausted breaths. Her skin and clothes were doused in sweat, and her straw yellow hair mottled against her perspiring face. Vicky took a step, and shooting pain ran like lightning all the way up to her hip, causing her to wince and grunt. She would manage, but not so soon. Her little fuzzy friend simply blinked at her and panted with excitement, swishing his fluffy tail. Vicky nearly gave a smile to Rascal, but the agony told her otherwise. Such an oblivious little mutt, it was kind of adorable. Wincing with every other step, Victoria limped toward the fainted Meowth and gave it a nudge with her foot.
"You better not be faking..." she growled in annoyance. But no, it was not. A fainted Pokemon was useless to her. Couldn't catch those, and she'd be daft to try to carry it back to town in her condition. Heck, Vicky would be lucky to make it back to town on two legs. If the town was still there by the time she returned, that is, and not some smoldering pit in the ground.

Rascal's eyes traced Vicky as she limped over to the tree she was originally leaning against, and lowered herself back down slowly. He pawed at her arm, sensing her discomfort, and stood on his hind legs to lick her face. Vicky wrested him down firmly and began stroking him from ear to tail, sighing loudly. The hike up the trail was tiring enough, getting tossed through the sky and being savagely attacked had took almost all she had out of her. Her eyes glazed over as she began to stare through space, trying to catch her breath, petting her fluffy Eevee around the ears and running her fingers through his soft fur. After she saw herself to town for a visit to the doctor, she thought she would take a nice, warm bath. Wash her clothes, and pick up some medicine so that she didn't have a repeat of this moment. And then get her sorry behind off this island before something on it became tired of her surviving.

I walk around for another 10 minutes before I wander upon a pretty battered and bruised Victoria with rascal, her eevee watching over her, and a downed meowth. He walks over to them slowly "hey rascal I'm here to help buddy."
He walks over to her and hands her a enriched water.
"Victoria its Trinidad. Your hurt pretty bad...let me help you."

The snake oil saleswoman couldn't help but sigh again loudly. What a way to start the day. Nearly getting herself killed. She swore that if she managed to get out of the jungle in one piece that she'd grift a boat or at the least stow away on one. Living in the lower decks of a rickety schooner for months at a time, surviving on whatever bread she could steal without being seen couldn't be worse than roasting on a spit as that crazed beast would have her be. Rascal perked his ears up and stopped panting for a moment, gazing off into the forest, flicking his tail expectantly. Victoria took notice and gritted her teeth, forcing herself to her feet and carefully drew an apricorn ball out from under her sash. No, not again! She would be better prepared this time! No way a mangy Pokemon would best her again, and no matter the odds she wouldn't let it escape. At least not unscathed. She set one foot in front of the other and her dominant arm back, taking a stance, prepared to send out Kamehameha once more should he be needed.

A flash of blue burst forth from the underbrush, and the pair jumped to action. The Eevee lowered its body to the ground, swishing its tail back and forth whilst emitting a purring growl, and Victoria threw her arm forward in time to... keep grip of her Pokeball. It wasn't a Pokemon, it was that kid that split from the group before she showed up. His name came up in conversation, what was it? Tristan, or something. Whatever. Victoria immediately relaxed, but Rascal kept cutely snarling at the new face.
"Hah...! Geez, kid, you nearly gave me a heart attack!" Vicky scoffed, slumping her shoulders and turning to sit beneath the tree she had taken as her resting spot. Her knee nearly gave out as she did so, causing her to nearly collapse, but the thief shrugged it off and gently lowered herself to the ground again.
"You're a little late, missed all the action. But I think that makes you a little bit luckier than I am right now," Vicky stated in agitation, not even bothering to look at the kid. Rascal, with soothing words directed toward him and his master's relaxed body posture, stopped snarling, but continued to flick his tail expectantly. He pounced upon the blue-haired human male, pawing at his legs playfully, jumping back to spin in circles with his tongue out. Vicky glanced over in Rascal's direction, and the corner of her lips twitched a bit. Dumb animal, always wanted to play with everyone he met. Adorable, but dumb.

The boy handed her a glass bottle of water, stating his name was Trinidad. Well, she'd been close. Got the first part right. But Vicky was stubborn and proud, and wasn't about to take his pity so readily. She turned to him sharply, pointing a menacing finger, ready to unload a barrage of insults and arguments upon him. But on second thought, he was right. She was in no condition to refuse any kind of help, and despite how much it hurt her ego, she would have to suck it up for the moment. Victoria quickly shut her mouth before a word came out, and hesitantly took the water from him.
"...Thanks..." she growled, not able to look him in the eye as she did so. Vicky was a prideful young woman. She had been surviving on the mean streets all around Cinnabar since before she was half as tall, and liked to believe that this meant she never needed nor would she ever need anyone's help. Regardless whether or not this was true. The thief turned to the boy again, this time prepared to berate him.
"This isn't charity, got it?" Vicky accused, pointing the neck of the bottle at Trinidad, "I will pay you back when we get back into town. Keep your pity to yourself, just... just give me a few minutes." Victoria uncorked the water, and used a portion of it upon the puncture wound on her shin. It caused her to wince and inhale with a hiss, but she kept from crying out. Untying the bandanna from around her head, she wrapped it firmly around the gash to keep the bleeding at bay. She took a few gulps of the water to soothe herself from the heat and get back some of the energy she sweated out, and poured the rest over her head. The water was a little warm, but it felt refreshing when the wind hit her face, cooling her off in the tropical weather. She ran a hand through her soaking blonde hair, sweeping back all but the most rebellious strands that clung to her forehead.
"I don't know about you, but I'm not planning on staying here too much longer. Not with that... thing, or whatever, calling down blazing rocks from the sky. I've got better things to do with my life than be crushed to death in some stupid port town," she spoke casually, relaxing her once hostile tone.
"Gonna find me a boat, leave this island, never look back. Pfft, I hate it here anyway..."

Trinidad looks down at Victoria and smiles widely at her. "I'm glad to be able to help." He leans down and starts playing with rascal l. " although getting off of this island does sound like a really good idea. What about nicking that boat the old guy was talking about? We could grab it and sail it away from here, possibly go to the mainland and sell whatever is in the hull."
Trinidad looks over at the meowth and picks him up and looks at Victoria. "No need to leave this little guy all alone and passed out here in the jungle. So what do you say about working together and getting off this island? We could split all the profit we make." Trinidad's smile is replaced by a serious look.
"It could prove beneficial to both of us."

Vicky raised an eyebrow at the boy. She decided to speak plainly and say what was on her mind for once. Rascal didn't even notice the conversation, scraping his paws against the blue-haired human's trousers, jumping around in circles, and slamming his rump into his leg, panting all the while.
"A boat, huh?" she inquired. That little detail had never come up in conversation, and she hadn't have been the wiser. Musta been another job the little ragtag group took before she decided to show her face and offer her own services. That was actually kind of funny, really. Victoria had taken them to be a troupe of gallivanting fools in search of "lost treasure" and "jolly adventure" and all that other fairy tale garbage. Swiping a ship and stealing its contents was a little... dark for what she assumed of them. She was nearly impressed. Nearly. Vicky might've been an Ekans-in-the-grass, a silver-tongued liar, a gold pincher, and an overall thief, but brigand nor thug she was not. Taking things by force wasn't her style, and it sure as Shellder was never the easy way to do things despite how many would claim otherwise. Those who would do so were probably thugs and brigands anyway, and the easy way was anytime they didn't have to use their tiny brains. Before she became too comfortable with filling her head with peppermint dreams of a ship and cargo, sailing the high seas on their way out of this Arceus-forsaken island, she'd need to get the details.

"Well well well, quite the surprise. I would've guessed that you were as much of a straight-laced goody two-shoes as the rest of your friends," Victoria mentioned slyly, giving Trinidad a smirk. However, she didn't intend on endeavoring to stand just yet. Not until she heard his plan. As far as her experience went, only a handful of people on Cinnibar Island thought anything through. Herself being one of those few, of course.
Victoria lolled her head over to the fainted Meowth to gaze at it for a moment before stating callously, "I'm not carrying that thing all the way back into town. Tch, with my leg? Little bugger can lay out here and get eaten for all I care." She began to flip the empty bottle up and down in her hands, catching it by the neck, and then the base, and then the neck again, sometimes twirling it between her fingers as she continued to speak to her new acquaintance. Her disposition immediately improved a step as it always did when discussing business.
"So tell me about this boat of yours, the one this old man was talking about? Details, size, cargo, anything like that?" Her eyes flashed for a second when her demeanor turned dour as she spoke yet again. "Look, I'm gonna say this right now, I don't know who you think I am but I'm not gonna slip a ship from someone. At least not outright. I mean, I'll persuade him into handing it over, but I'm not about to sneak aboard and cut ties, understand?"

Trinidad looks at her and smiles goofy like. "I'll carry the little guy back then! As for my plan... I'm going to walk on board hoist sail and make for anywhere the wind blows.
He stares at her
"the ship was already gifted away anyway as to where that captain went I have no idea. However if its water then I will be right at home."
He stretches and turns and let's lose a water pulse into the jungle before turning around to stare at her and smile.
"Its land that I have issues with at times."
He picks up the injured meowth and places him on his back.
"I'm ready whenever you are Victoria. Hopefully before that thing comes back..."

The thief couldn't help but crack a smirk at Trinidad. If nothing else, he sure had enthusiasm. But in keeping her smirk she shook her head and sighed. Enthusiasm... but no plan. Once again she'd be the brains of the outfit, but it was good to know that he was an Elemental. Someone who could handle themselves in a fight meant that more'n likely she wouldn't have to. Fighting was the worst kind of way to get your hands dirty. Nearly as bad as working for a living, but she was just splitting hairs.
"Eager, aren'tcha?" Victoria remarked, wincing slightly as she planted a single hand and brought herself to her feet. Her leg still ached, but at least it wasn't a piercing, shooting pain. So far so good, but she'd rather get it checked out as soon as she could. Make sure that mangy cat didn't give her an infection.
"A good quality for some people to have..." she continued, recalling Rascal and placing his ball under her sash, "...and a fantastic way for someone to get themselves killed. Let's say that I take care of the navigating, huh?"

Yes, going "wherever the wind took you" might mean "I don't care where I go" to most people, but to Vicky it translated to "I'm preparing to be lost at sea". She'd spare him the finer details, like how they'd need to plan a route, stock up on provisions, possibly hire more of a crew depending on the size of the ship along with what this mystery cargo was and what to do with it. Well, at least until it was brought up. If she was going to keep people from getting themselves killed all day, Vicky figured she might as well start doing it for a living. Well, if the job actually paid that is. Maybe she'd keep the boat. A ship could prove useful... but then again, someone so accustomed to the sea would be rather difficult to part from it. Maybe they could work out where she could keep the merchandise and he can keep the ship? Depending on where they ended up she'd probably have no use for the blasted thing anyway. That was always the great thing about gold: globally accepted and valuable anywhere you went. Victoria bent over at the waist to retrieve her rucksack, and tossed her weighted net over her shoulder.
"Right..." she remarked, agreeing with his comment on leaving before that... thing... made the decision that it wasn't yet done.
"Not much use sitting around here, is it? Well, shall we be off?" With a shaky first step, Victoria began to make her way through the brush, looking for a road or a trail. Unless that beast had thrown her ludicrously far, one should be fairly close. After a moment's travel, Victoria piped up.
"Careful not to be startled by that Meowth should it wake up, ya? It has the ability to speak, so be forewarned. And should that blasted cat wake up before we get there, I'll have to demand that you give me the honors of either catching it or putting it down again. I don't quite think it's gotten what it's deserved just yet."

Trinidad smiles and looks at her.
" that's no problem at all Victoria you can have the little guy he can help out on the ship! As for the ship yeah you can be the navigator that saves me from having to go over maps and everything. As for a crew well the Pokemon and us can pilot her she's a schooner so it will be manageable if the others are not there. I would rather set sail today after we nick a few things from town since everyone is hiding."
He starts walking back towards town

The con artist sighed a deep, weary sigh as the kid turned around and started to cut through the brush. It was the blasted common sense again... and how she was the only one who seemed to have it. Maybe she was just being a bit cautious, but just two people and a couple Pokemon weren't enough to run anything but a cutter. They could do it with four, five would be preferred, but two was a bit short. Well, it could be done, but her Pokemon weren't the... most helpful type of Pokemon. Rascal couldn't very well help, and he'd be more content to stare at the waves and pace the decks anyway. And Kamehameha would more than likely accidentally set fire to the ship somehow. That would probably ruin their little adventure early. But they'd still need supplies, but that was her job as naviga-

Wait. Why was SHE suddenly stuck with all this adventure crap!? That cargo better be worth it!

It took just a little while, but Vicky found herself back on the path she was thrown from. The crater from the meteor that fell was a ways up, but easily visible, and the surrounding trees were felled from the impact. More of the jungle had been disturbed when the beast had discharged some kind of ray into the mountainside, and a few branches were left smoldering, and she could see the smoke from a few kilometers out as well as the missing trees. Victoria turned from the devastation, not eager to think about how close she'd come mere hours before.
"If you get us run out of town before I do everything we need I'll cave your head in!" she called after the boy, himself now degrees farther ahead of her. Her leg ached as she trudged the long walk down the road back into Magmos, and she'd have to see a doctor before they set off in addition. And inspect that cargo. And buy supplies. Possibly recruit a few more for their journey. Victoria let loose another exhausted sigh, hiking her rucksack farther up her shoulder as she began to step into the streets, heading to her nearest medical clinic.

Trinidad and Vicky manage to make it back to town after picking their way throughout the devastation. Traversing over felled trees and smoldering fires. After walking for over 30 minutes they arrive in town. People and pokemon are outside cleaning up the debris and rubbish.
The medical center is to the right of the street as you walk down the avenue. You both stop inside and are greeted warmly.
why hello there!! How can we help you?!
