"Yeah." Jonathan's arms unfold. "We're trying to get to Rainshadow City."

"Perfect. Then follow us." Phoebe heads out the exit of the room you're in, but pretty quickly comes to a stop after you follow for a little bit. You notice up ahead of her the path forks. On the right is a tunnel that slides downward, and on the left is a one foot ledge that curves along the wall, with about a 5 meter drop down to a huge cavern filled with stalagmites and stalagtites. Phoebe turns to you and says, "The right leads back to the main path, but that's where the poachers have been most active, and our crates can't fit through. We'll be taking the path on the left - it's more of a hike, but it's full of wild Pokemon, and then we wouldn't have to split up. We can help you down...I...saw your memories of your previous climbing attempt," she says with a little smirk. "But it's up to you."

Phoebe tuts. "Calm down, Spike. There's power in numbers. We don't have much to offer, but we know these tunnels well and have strong Pokemon... Come with us and we'll help defend you if Team Eco attacks. We'll all sleep easier at night. We're headed deeper into the pass - I assume all of you are heading that way too?"

That will work. Ziggy learned in the music business that you have to aim high, but sometimes you have to take what you can get. "It will be safer traveling together to make it through the pass"

When Phoebe mentions wild pokemon Ziggy gets excited. "Let's take the left path, I don't mind a few wild pokemon. Maybe I'll even make a few friends along the way"

"Of course. Spike, the ladder please." Spike looks grumpy as ever, but pulls a long sturdy rope ladder from his pack. His two Pokemon deftly secure the ladder. "I'll head down first, and then Mr. Mime will use his telekinesis to stabilize you." Phoebe hops on the rope ladder and climbs down into the cavern.

Tristan nods. "Left sounds great."

The left seems somehow safer with these people, despite not being the main path. Barnaby continues to walk by his side, as Flora floats gently atop his back. He's just giving all kinds of rides to Tristan's Pokemon today.

While they walk, Tristan updates his little map to include the gap they crossed with the silk bridge, and the passage Mog blew open. Finally, he indicates this fork on the map, and marks the left passage with his charcoal as they enter.

As you climb down into the cavern with your Pokemon and flashlights lighting the way, you notice a number of Roggenrola hiding among the rocks, and the occasional Geodude. Zubats occasionally sweep down from the ceiling. In the distance in the left wall, you see a small dark cave. You also swear you hear the sound of running water echoing off the walls, but you can't see anything.

Tristan climbs along quietly, listening and on the lookout for any Pokémon that pique his interest. The Zubats are giving him the chills...

Ziggy attaches Amp to Metalhead "Stay near me, light my way". Ziggy then carefully climbs down. Once he lands, he takes a look around for interesting pokemon... those zubats have his interest... maybe they could be good singers. Ziggy walks along, looking for pokemon and humming a marching song.

Tristan doesn't notice anything in particular, but his instincts tell him he might have a chance of finding Grass Type Pokemon near the water, if he could fit it.

Ziggy climbs down fine and Jonathan follows, along with Spike. Once you're all on the ground and moving forward, Ziggy starts his marching song. It's definitely attracting zubat, but not in the way he exactly hoped... There are four Zubat flitting around Ziggy's head annoyingly close.

The two mining contractors look at all of you, and the woman says, "We'll defend you from Team Eco, but if you go stirring up wild Pokemon you're on your own. But feel free." They vaguely keep heading forward, but not at a pace that you would lose them. This particular cavern is more wide open, and with a little light you can see farther than those dark narrow tunnels.

"Do you guys hear that water? Any idea where it's coming from?" Tristan asked the NanoKlink people.
