Route 2
Route 2 is a well maintained cobblestone road that stretches all the way from the entrance to Prospect Pass in the Kadia Mountain Range in the East, to the town of Pokane in the West. A row of berry trees line either side of the path, and beyond that is a wide swath of tall grass and yellow, orange, and red wildflowers. Farmers have set up a white fence between the tall grass and their farmland to keep out trainers and wild Pokemon alike. Past the fences is rolling farmland as far as the eye can see.

The area of Route 2 near Pokane often has a number of trainers looking to battle for fun. They're predominantly teenagers from Pokane, since there isn't much else to do in the town.

Halfway down Route 2 is a fork to Route 3, which leads to Yakka Yakka Farms.

Closer to Prospect Pass, Route 2 crosses over the Okanaga River. There, Route 2 is actually the top of a large hydroelectric dam situated on the river that doubles as a bridge.

Jonathan walks out onto the path on Route 2, eager to test his pokemon.

It was still early yet when Tristan reached Route 2, and wandered down the cobblestone road in a meandering fashion, stopping to investigate some of the berry trees, and keeping an eye out for other trainers and on the wild grass / wildflowers. All in all, this was a picturesque little route.

(It's what I use to qualify for green thumb... does it count? Or should I roll Survival?)

Tristan & Jonathan:
As you enter Route 2, you see a number of trainers that look like they're in the mood for a friendly battles:
- A 14 year old girl in overalls wearing huge glasses seems to be peering into the tall grass and flowers
- A 18 year old boy wearing a track uniform is jogging back and forth, keeping his heart rate up
- A 16 year old boy who kind of looks like a punk is resting up against a berry tree with a smug look on his face
- A 18 year old girl is sitting on the fence, texting someone on her Pokedex

Tristan:
You identify the two main types of berry trees on the path - blue Oran berries and red Cheri berries. You collect 3 of each.

Hmmm...that guy who is jogging seems like he'd be an okay opponent...

Jonathan jogs up to him. "I'm trying to give my pokemon a workout! You up for a challenge?"

Tristan walked over to where the girl was standing peering into the flowers. "See any cool Pokemon?" he asked her, genuinely interested. "I'm a grass-type trainer, seeing what I can see here too."

He looked into the wildflowers himself, looking for anything interesting.

#If he doesn't find anything, he asks:

"Say, would you like to have a friendly battle over by the road, then continue looking in the wildflowers together? I'm sure both of our Pokemon could use the workout!"

Ziggy casually strolls down route 2 practicing his guitar.

He passes by Tristan and Jonathan as he walks, giving each of them a lazy nod. Ziggy's eyes set on punk kid resting by the tree. He strolls up (strumming his guitar) and, after a 15 second guitar solo, says "Sup?"

Jonathan:
The runner stops jogging and raises an eyebrow, sizing you up. "Yeah man, I'll fight! Though I'll warn you, I'm pretty used to winning," he says with a cocky grin.

"Go, Voltorb!"

Speed: 20 + 4 from Agility Training

Tristan:
The girl looks up at you. "Oohhh, I love grass types! I was looking to see if there were in teeny tiny Pokemon hiding in the grass, but I didn't see anything. I'll battle you! I'm Ariana, nice to meet you!"

You head back to the road, and Ariana throws out a Pokeball. "Go, Paras!"

Ziggy:
The kid nods back, but then he narrows his eyes at you. "...Wait, aren't you Ziggy?" He gives you a righteous nod. "I saw your show at the PokeCenter last week. Pretty cool."
