Kylar: You spot a tree nearby with a sturdy looking branch hanging over the river. You decide it'll give you a good aerial view of the area, so you nimbly climb up. From the branch, you're able to see the back of the Power Plant. You notice a large exit pipe dumping waste into the river, and the river downstream from that point looks grimier and is just filled with dozens and dozens of Croagunk. In the pipe is a large sleeping Muk, almost certainly the one you fought yesterday. |

Kylar thinks hard. "I gotta get those Croagunk out of there. If they get into the town's water system, they could cause a serious issue." Kylar releases Pooky and Fang onto the branch. He looks to both of them. "Alright, Pooky and Fang. You are the fastest and frankly, Knuckles and Crunch earned their stripes yesterday. Here is what you are going to do", Kylar reaches in his bag and rubs some of the Muk he had in the jar from Tristan, "I am going to toss a Pester Ball down there and when those Croagunk are confused, you guys run in and lure them away with the smell of the Muk, because they are obviously attracted to it. If you run them up stream, they will follow you to a more appropriate part of the river. Near the swampier parts. As you run, that smell will wear off with time, just don't stop til the Croagunk stop following. Rendevouz back here." Kylar tosses a Pester Ball B into the crowd of Croagunk. After it opens, Fang and Pooky swoop in and do their jobs. Kylar watches his little friends, to make sure they don't need further assistance. #Let me know what rolls you want, if any |

The Croagunks look confused after the Pester Ball goes off, but you can see they slowly catch the Mukky scent of Fang and Pooky. Most of the Croagunks gradually start hopping down river, following your Pokemon and dispersing. There are a couple of Croagunk left, but nothing that would be threatening to the environment. About an hour later Fang and Pooky arrive back, looking proud of themselves. "Ratttttata!" "Purrrr, purrrrr." They rub heads lovingly. Though this seems to be a temporary fix for the area, it dawns on you that the Muk will keep attracting the frogs back. |

Kylar wipes his brow. He really wasn't sure if that would work as intended. Never can be too sure when you take a calculated risk. Next up was that Muk. He appeared to be sleeping. He looked to Pooky and Fang, We can probably net it with the weighted net, then I can get it in a pokeball." The plan comes to fruition, Kylar, Fang and Pooky sneak up on Muk Pooky and Fang have Stealth ability. #Won't be heard. Kylar Stealth [result]18&3:6:5,3d6,4,18&3d6+4[/result] If that Works

You manage to sneak up on Muk and throw the net over it. But before you can grab for a Pokeball, it wakes up and looks directly at you. "Muukkk..." It's obviously still injured from yesterday's fight, and doesn't have the energy to fight. But then you hear something... "Mer.. mer... grime..." When you take a closer look, you realize there are six tiny purple blobs snuggled up into Muk's goop... Baby grimers?! It dawns on you. Muk wasn't an it, it was a she. And she was defending her babies after Team Eco boarded up their house. Maybe there's some solution other than catching it. |

Upon seeing the babies, it dawns on Kylar, not only had the Muk attacked to protect its kin, it did so at the risk of Croagunk stealing her babies. Kylar removes the net and begins to think out loud "Cmon Kylar. Think. What would a ranger do damn it!?" He continues to think and it dawns on him, she is healthy enough to move. I just gotta convince her. That shouldn't be too hard, right? Kylar approaches the mother Muk calmly, Pooky and Fang keeping the babies occupied. "Alright mama. We got to get you out of here. Those Croagunk will taint your habitat and you won't get better. I know of a little spot to the south. It is an abandoned dump. It isn't fancy, but you'll be safe. Whatya say?" The Muk looks up at you with a tired look. "Mu, mu" she says with a little nod. She really just wants to be left alone, and the idea of an abandoned dump sounded like a palace to her. She rounds up her little gooplings and follows you partway to the dump. You tell her to follow the river the rest of the way to find it, and she waves a sludge hand goodbye as they migrate to their new home. 1 MISC Trainer Exp 40 Exp to split between Crunch, Fang, and Pooky You find your way back to the Power Plant. |

All in a days work. The job of a ranger is never over. What time was it anyway? Kylar looked to the sun in the sky for the time. He looked toward Fang and Pooky who seemed to be prepping some mating ritual or something, "Knock it off you two. You did great today. Your speed and stealth make a great combo. Keep it up," Kylar returned to Pokemon to their balls and returned to Pokane |

With his pokemon healed, he wanders down the path towards the power plant again. I don't care what that buffoon says. My pokemon are nowhere near ready. Especially not Cha-Cha. Phyllis and Rambo are decently prepared, but I need a better anchor pokemon. One that can dish it out as well as take it...
