Theme music is now mandatory

The bottom of the stairs has another turnstile, after which there are a few benches and... a booth?

Lights hanging from the ceiling, the booths, and the raised platform in this small cavelike room suggest this place once housed some kind of railway. A train, a subway... whatever was here, it's not anymore. Despite the age, the technology of turnstiles and railways seems pretty advanced, and the station itself is tidy as can be. How frighteningly modern.

This small service station is the only place down here in visible light; the only other exits in this room are the tunnels which have rails running through them, and they're both shrouded in darkness.

Amy goes in to the booth to see what the Merchant is on about.

Merchant doesn't see anything more out of the ordinary here.

Amy notices a stray paper Merchant missed, her eyes just a bit sharper than his (there's a first time for everything). She picks up a rolled-up scroll, similar to the one she picked up in her room. Unraveling it shows a black ink fist, the telltale symbol of the Fighting-type, smack in the middle of the page. This is definitely of the same breed as her Rock scroll.

Deciding to get some firsthand experience, Merchant walks into the dark fog as well, just in case anything would be revealed.

"Oo! Sparkly!" Amy pockets the magic paper, shrugs at the door, and goes outside to watch the Merchant.

Surprise surprise, Merchant loops right back around. Even his superior mind can't discern a reason this should be happening... it just is.

Stefan watches the other two. When Amy emerges, he can't help but feel a little ashamed of his nerves.

"Find anything good? Find out what the papers say?"

"I already told you what the papers said, silly! You were standing right there." If the girl knew modern language, Ursus has the feeling that a 'duh' would have been mixed in. She conveniently says nothing about the scroll.

"Oh."

Stefan glances about. He had been hoping for a little more information.

"I don't suppose you two have any ideas about, say, summoning the Iron Tail line?"

That sounded like something he'd be interested in.

...Oh. There's an idea. Were these lines magical? Amy looked around for anything that could possibly summon one of them.
