Theme music is now mandatory The bottom of the stairs has another turnstile, after which there are a few benches and... a booth? Lights hanging from the ceiling, the booths, and the raised platform in this small cavelike room suggest this place once housed some kind of railway. A train, a subway... whatever was here, it's not anymore. Despite the age, the technology of turnstiles and railways seems pretty advanced, and the station itself is tidy as can be. How frighteningly modern. This small service station is the only place down here in visible light; the only other exits in this room are the tunnels which have rails running through them, and they're both shrouded in darkness. |

"Further down the buneary hole," Stefan reflects in reserved admiration. "Perhaps we should split up and see where they go. You can come with me if you would like, Miss, but Merchant is just as skilled." Stefan wastes little time in switching on his flashlight and hopping down to the tracks to the left hand tunnel. |

This place used to be so busy and absolutely covered with people. Such a shame for it to be in disrepair now. She stared at the light fixtures...would an electric jolt turn the lights back on? The joltik was let out of its antique pokeball, and Amy shared her idea with it. In answer to the rougher man, the girl takes out a coin and flips it. She giggles at the result, and points at a random tunnel. "I'll go down that one, with whichever wants to go with me." |

Stefan's flashlight seems even darker in this tunnel... unnaturally dark. Walking into the train tunnel is a little unnerving. Soon, he's not sure if he can even see anything. Where did his flashlight beam go? It's not even visible anymore. Before he knows it, Stefan is back in the station room... on the other side of the tracks, the right-hand tunnel, where Amy is pointing. The booth is heavily protected with thick iron bars. Construction like that still stands up in this day and age... and the only way in seems to be a small door in the wall, inaccessible from outside the cage. Strangely, there doesn't seem to be a door that way; no access to the other side of the wall. The Joltik tries giving the light fixture a zap, but it's unresponsive. |

Merchant looks up at Stefan walking on the other side and waves at him. "Can your pokemon bend these bars?" He pays no notice to the incongruity of the man reappearing on the opposite side. |

Stefan pauses for a moment, not quite sure what happened. He knew he didn't like it. "Can your pokemon bend these bars?" A little shaken, Stefan takes the chance to do something more manual and calls Krieger out again. Perhaps Gram could phase in there, but he wasn't exactly looking forward to provoking the occult. Krieger looks hungrily at the iron bars and moves in to try and wrench them off. Power 13 Athletics [result]19&1:5:1:2:1:4,6d6,5,19&6d6+5[/result] |

The wall bends easily to Krieger's girthy arms; the bars are soon removed. Amy doesn't sense anything odd while inside the darkness, no presence is detected. She soon stumbles out of the tunnel that Stefan originally entered. |

Krieger gives a strange, haughty chuckle as he wrenches the bars away. Sitting down upon his haunches, he begins to gnaw at them as if they were a mere snack for him. Stefan gestures towards the now-open window. "Well, there you go." Two people in such a small space seemed a little pointless. He turns back towards the girl, who not surprisingly, came out in the same place as he did. "Strange, right?," he begins. A thought occurs to him. . . well, two. "The name is Stefan, by the way. Might be important. Yours?" Waiting for the answer, he releases Passat, his flying scout and commands it to use Miracle Eye before investigating the tunnel entrance.
