Theme music is now mandatory This part of the Pyramid looks starkly different from anything the explorers have seen before. The solid dark walls from before are now layered brick, which sparkle a metallic shade of gold. It looks like a formal waiting room out of some big stone castle, with small tables and chairs set up, the kind one would see in a dollhouse. A large chandelier hangs from the ceiling, twin sets of stairs line the walls of the chamber, leading up to a small second story overhang of this tall room. Aside from the big stone doors the explorers arrived in, there's wooden doors at the base of both sets of stairs, as well as a pair of red steel double-doors atop the overhang. A smaller door is also under the overhang, leading to a child's bedroom. No living things currently occupy this room. Edited by BatiroAtrain, May 25 2014, 01:12 PM.

"There was no crown prince in fort-" Merchant pauses. This was one of those attempts of 'humor' wasn't it? "The year is currently known as 1978." Merchant's attention begins to stray as he analyzes the room and searches for valuables. [result]24&2:3:2:6:6,5d6,5,24&5d6+5[/result] Perception |

The gift of a ten-year-old body is also the curse of a ten-year-old body. Nobody thinks the child standing there has ears or a brain, and she can get a way with quite a lot. But, no one takes her seriously. Ever. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she said, "I am not four." The metal man didn't treat her like a child. Slightly refreshing. And then what he said hit her. That was a looooong time to sleep. She was sure that she had never slept so long before. "Ah," she said. And then, in a manner very much like a child, "I don't mind you being in my home, but stay out of my room!" She pointed at the little door so they would know which. Then, curious to see what had changed, she moved to one of the doors at the bottom of the stairs. The amaura followed slowly. |

There's not much to loot here. It looks rather... modern, but there doesn't seem to be anything hidden around here. |

Stefan sighed. The girl certainly had some sass to her, as if she were inconvenienced by the rescue. He wasn't good with kids. Perhaps playing along with her little fantasy would help her warm up and drop the act. He didn't want to have to go through camp literally dragging a screaming little girl, after all, regardless of whether or not it was her best interests. "Okay then. If you don't have a grandfather named Owen and you just mysteriously sprouted from the ground, like a mushroom, then tell us how you got here. Or how you've stayed so young for such a long time. My mother would kill for your secret." Stefan tried to keep his tone patient, but Krieger knew him well enough. The aggron scoffed before moving over to the wall and lying down, waiting for the humans to finish their discussion. |

Merchant digs up some fossils with luck... what he digs up looks like a disembodied head. This is not a fully intact Pokemon, but maybe it can work anyway. Not long after Merchant has finished digging, he hears the pitter-patter of Sawk coming down the hallway. The door the girl approaches feels cold... of course, this is where they kept all the perishable food! She remembers now. Amaura always loved this room. Even if she didn't remember, there's a sign in familiar glyphs that reads "COLD STORAGE". |

"Since when do humans sprout up from the ground?" Really, what kind of nonsense is this man talking? She stopped when she reached the door, and seriously considered his questions. The problem with sleeping for so long: sometimes it takes a while for all of the memories to come back. "I am pretty sure that I was invited by the residents here. That room was set aside for my particular use. As for aging...I do not remember." If this adult was not taking her seriously by now, he wouldn't ever. He seemed like one of those tough types that take things at face value. In her experience, those people need something drastic to change their minds. The girl tugged on the door, hoping it didn't give her as much trouble as hers. Had anything changed? Edited by JustAnotherRocketGrunt, May 22 2014, 03:21 PM.

Merchant stares at the disembodied head. Creepy. He ducks back into the main room, not wanting to deal with the Sawk alone. Stefan was right about one thing, it would be better not to anger another troupe of fighting pokemon. "Incoming workers." Walking to the center of the room, he places the fossil into the Revitalization machine. He watches the girl opening the door as well, curious what may be in the room. |

Stefan chews on her response. She wasn't rising to the challenge that Stefan was prodding her with. Really, if she was lying, how did she get into a sealed vault that was covered by thousands of tons of stone until a mere day before, when Owens missing girl went missing long before. He was starting to actually buy into the story. He follows her partway, but stops as she reaches the door, mindful of what was a reasonable request. "I find your tale hard to believe, but more bizarre things have happened. How do you feel? Do you need food?" Edited by Ursus the Grim, May 22 2014, 04:42 PM.

The girl finds the door opens easily, and she's met with a cold blast of air. A short, white hallway leads to the cold place. Merchant's machine produces a white egg, with green and red polka-dots... his database confirms it as a Ralts egg! Creepy. The Sawk now arrive in the golden room, looking around curiously. They first go toward the small door at the back of the room, but then they see the girl approaching one of the side doors. They swarm her a little bit, but leave a respectable amount of room. Apparently they're most enticed by her. |
