Theme music is now mandatory This part of the Pyramid looks starkly different from anything the explorers have seen before. The solid dark walls from before are now layered brick, which sparkle a metallic shade of gold. It looks like a formal waiting room out of some big stone castle, with small tables and chairs set up, the kind one would see in a dollhouse. A large chandelier hangs from the ceiling, twin sets of stairs line the walls of the chamber, leading up to a small second story overhang of this tall room. Aside from the big stone doors the explorers arrived in, there's wooden doors at the base of both sets of stairs, as well as a pair of red steel double-doors atop the overhang. A smaller door is also under the overhang, leading to a child's bedroom. No living things currently occupy this room. Edited by BatiroAtrain, May 25 2014, 01:12 PM.

A burst of cold energy filters through a dark room... somewhere far beneath the ground. Some covers stir in this dark room. High thread count. No peasant silks here. A set of young eyes slowly opens in the darkness... stifling a yawn, the consciousness looks around the dark place. Did something cause her to wake up? |

Mmmm....these sheets, and this bed, were definitely one of her better acquisitions. So comfortable! The small form squeezed her eyes shut again and stretched her arms and legs. One of those good stretches that are almost painful. She wriggled her toes and worked her fingers. Joints and bones popped as the stiffness faded away. Sigh...This female loves a good and long nap! But, curious...what had awakened her? She strained, listening for any odd sounds...intruders, perhaps? Perception [result]18&6:3:3:1,4d6,5,18&4d6+5[/result] |

There aren't any sounds around here... she wasn't startled awake. Likewise, there was nothing around for her to see (it was dark, anyway). There's a candle on a nightstand next to her... she knows that much. |

No sounds, no light, no other creatures nearby. Hmmm... Where she would normally bound out of bed with great energy, she slid carefully out instead. It is a good thing she remembered the layout of her room, and it was not difficult to run her hand along her bed until she touched the nightstand. From there, the girl found the candle, and the matches in the drawer. She smiled as the match flared up and the wick caught, and then looked around the room. As one candle lights, so do the ten others around the room. Technology in this age is pretty neat. The lights flicker, but give her a better view of her surroundings: white tile, pink walls, and innumerable amounts of toys lining the shelves and bottoms of the walls. Of course, there's also her wardrobe with mirror (she has more than just pajamas after all), and the door out, far in the corner. |

'What should I wear today? Is it even day? Or night? Whichever, some exploring is in order. What's changed since I fell asleep? How long have I slept? What woke me up? What should I wear today?' FULL of energy, she half runs to the wardrobe and throws the doors open. There is all kinds of clothing in here. Dresses, long skirts, short skirts, even a few pairs of pants. The most odd thing about the clothes, though, is the range of styles. Someone who did not know better would think that these clothes were made in vastly different time periods. But, since most people do know better, they realize that many fashionistas are capable of creating clothing that look like they are from different time periods. She rocks back and forth on the balls of her feet, considering, and eventually pulls out a pink, ribboned dress. Maximum cute factor. Satisfied, she checks the contents of a small back pack (hah, rhyming) and grabs three apricorn balls that are carefully placed among the toys on the shelves. Lastly, she tries the door. The door, not surprisingly, seems to be stuck. Looks like construction has deteriorated in the last... however long she's been sleeping. That door isn't budging right now. |

A scowl crossed the girl's face. Of course it would be stuck. Requested Athletics[result]9&6:1:2,3d6,0,9&3d6[/result] |

Try as she might, it would require a little extra effort on her part (even with the AP) to get that thing open. It's stuck pretty good. |
