One of the larger cities of the region, Saffron is the technological focal point of Kanto. Among the many smaller corporations and offices, the Silph Co. building stands tallest of all, right in the center of town, overshadowing the two gyms in its wake. While only one is of Pokemon League merit, both provide an equal challenge to daring competitors. There's also rumors of an black market of illicit technology, an underground Silicon Valley...

Merchant deploys the white-sticker ball... a shrill cry echoes out, and in a burst of snow, a fat red bird plops out in front of Merchant. Delibird!

Merchant scans the bird, analyzing its abilities.

The hit bashes Croagunk's skull in, and it goes DOWN!
