Theme Music is now mandatory

The largest metropolis in Johto, Goldenrod has always been a hot spot for up-and-coming trainers. The city's Gym Leader, Whitney, is renowned for not only being accepting of students, but also incredibly tough; her Miltank is a force to be reckoned with.

Pokemon battles aside, the city features a massive shopping center, a large flea market (with hobby shops, such as the bike shop), a Game Corner, and of course, the massive Radio Tower. There's much adventure to be had in Goldenrod; the city never sleeps, after all.

Jason lowers his body as he tried to brace himself from the rocking.

Jason just barely keeps his balance... the mob is still unruly, though. For now, though, he can catch a quick breather, and decide a course of action.

From here, it looks like he could hop the shipping containers to the stairs... a difficult few jumps, but the easiest he can see. Some stacks of pipes are also nearby; maybe they could be used as a distraction. And of course, there's always the massive leap of faith into the water on one side, but that's a far, far jump.

On a far off table, though, on the other side of the room... is the other keycard.

Eyeing the keycard, Jason took in a deep breath before bracing himself and leaping towards it, hoping to make it without a problem.

Jason quickly, swiftly leaps from crate to crate, leaving the Rockets in the dust! With one epic leap off of the closest container, Jason is able to land right on top of the table, splitting it in half, with the keycard flying up into his hand. Suave as hell.

The Rockets take note, but keep charging at him, unsure of where he's going to be going next... (Athletics to juke them on the way to the stairs, or what have you)

With keycard in hand, Jason made his way back to the stairs quickly.

(Cumulative Rocket Athletics: 5 <CRIT FAIL>)

Apparently, that training doesn't do them much good. Jason effortly jukes the Rockets as they trip all over themselves and their Pokemon.

As he gets to the top of the stairs, the Rockets sound far behind... seems like he has a bit of time to get through those big doors. Pinsir and the Makuhita just kind of stare at him.

Jason looked to the Pinsir and Makuhita while catching his breath before shaking his head. He then moved to the double door and used both keycards, hoping that there wasn't another large squad inside.

The keycards are quickly recognized, and the steel doors open juuuust enough to let Jason and his Pokemon squadron in.

Inside is a despicable scene; a bunch of smaller Pokemon are being kept in cages. Zubat, Rattata, Poochyena... little things, but there's many of them. Strangely, they don't seem to notice Jason and his crowd coming in; they all seems very pacified. A few computers and charts lurk in the darkest corners of the room, and a table lit by a single dangling light bulb is aligned in the center. It's also covered in blood.

On the far side of the room, a man in a white coat is dragging an incredibly dreamy-eyed Growlithe toward the table, looking up to acknowledge Jason. "Ahh, ze shipment 'as arrived? Or an intruder? Speak up!"

Jason looked around at all of the pokemon before looking to the man in the coat, raising an eyebrow. "I'm here to stop whatever it is you are doing and free all of these poor pokemon."

The coated man boasts some kind of crazy laugh... and plops the Growlithe onto the table. "Hahah... oh, zat is zee good one. But, if you must, you make take ze veaklings. Zey are done."

He pulls a switch from his coat pocket, and clicks it, simultaneously opening every cage near Jason. All of the Pokemon inside them stir and rise up, coming out of their cages to meet Jason, apparently. This totals four Rattata, three Zubat, two Poochyena, a Pikachu, and three Zigzagoon. All of their eyes, their motions, are incredibly hazy; this seems to come from devices affixed to their heads. They aren't aggressive, so it seems.

"Take zem with you, but I'm sure ze police would love to qvestion you about ze device! 'Ave fun rotting in jail if you do zat!" The doctor cackles madly as he picks up one of these devices, a headband kind of thing with a blue gemlike decoration in the center.

This guy is like something straight out of a movie.
