Ah, Johto. After spending the last few days in the staunch caverns of the Pyramid, it's nice to get out of the tunnels for a breather. The ever-so-familiar sight of wild Sentret and Metapod basking in sunlight is a contrasting image from what's been featured lately on this journey, and even the sound of young Trainers battling is also somewhat refreshing.

Coming from Violet, there are two paths: one to the Ruins of Alph (south), and one that heads toward Goldenrod (west).

Jason sighs a little bit as does the Snover from the lack of damage coming in before throwing another burst of leaves.

The fish barrel-rolls under the leaves this time, and jumps high, high in the air... (Bounce Set-up)

Snover watches the fish fly up in the air and then takes a few steps away and waits for the fish to drop. [Moving 4 steps away from current spot]

The fish slams down with great fury!

...but misses. It couldn't reach Snover.

The fisherman looks incredibly threatened. "That was our strongest move... you'll pay for that!" The golden Karp flips and flops angrily!

Jason yawns a little bit as Mayweather throws out another flurry of leaves.

The leaves just don't want to hit the gold Karp... it responds with another Tackle. [result]5&5,1d20,0,5&1d20[/result] [result]13&6,1d8,7,13&1d8+7[/result]

Jason's starting to get a little irritated at the elusiveness of the fish but Mayweather fires off another volley.

The golden Karp takes the leaves, finally... and takes them hard. The gold Karp is bashed into the water...

The fisherman jumps off of the dock and snuggles his poor Karp, crying. "No more, no more! I give up!"

The other fishermen on the dock are visibly annoyed by that guy. So much, that a few of them approach Jason. "Hey, thanks for putting that guy in his place... he's weird. Take this as our thanks." They hand over a TM to Jason... TM55: Scald!

Jason watched the fisherman before looking to the other fishers, nodding a bit and taking the TM. "Thanks for this. His fish was quite annoying as well."[/color]

Jason continued his walk, still not satisfied but only becoming more agitated at the fisherman and his stupid golden Magikarp.

Getting off the docks and leaving all these dumb fisherman behind, he finally comes upon a great big stony wall with a cave entrance in it... presumably the Union Cave. There's a Center next to the entrance, with only a few trainers gathered around, proudly displaying their hard-earned Zephyr Badges to one another. A few have Hive Badges too, but they all carry some kind of Fire-type or Flying-type with them.
