Ah, Johto. After spending the last few days in the staunch caverns of the Pyramid, it's nice to get out of the tunnels for a breather. The ever-so-familiar sight of wild Sentret and Metapod basking in sunlight is a contrasting image from what's been featured lately on this journey, and even the sound of young Trainers battling is also somewhat refreshing. Coming from Violet, there are two paths: one to the Ruins of Alph (south), and one that heads toward Goldenrod (west). Edited by BatiroAtrain, May 20 2014, 06:50 PM.

Inei looks at the area inquisitively, not what he had expected, he was looking for trainers. He decides to spend some time with his Pokemon then, waiting for more trainers. Releasing his swarm, he places Tekikaku and Boyaketa on top of Horui, Tsumugu rested on Matsu's "Top Branch", while Yarikihei flew around. Like that Inei just sat among his critters, enjoying the early morning. |

Inei waits for some competition... eventually a few trainers cross his path, all traveling with different Pokemon. Of them, there is a young black-haired man with a Quilava, an older gentleman with a Growlithe, and a young girl with a Clefairy. All of them are curious about the bug-man of Route 36. (Pick one or two to interact with) |

Inei approaches the interested parties, and asks:"I am sorry, but is either of you interested in a small bout? I have some time to spare while I travel, and would be very happy for a bit of battling.", Inei's most interested about the Person with the Quilava and the Clefairy. |

The gentleman tips his hat, drops a bit of change in Inei's lap (50 Pyen) and heads on his way. The two youths look at each other. They agree to have a double battle with Inei, using their respective Pokemon, with a wager of 500 Pyen from each of them versus 1000 from Inei, if he finds it acceptable. |

Horui misses with its rocks. Its eyes look sad. The Clefairy flashes a menacing look at the big, sad bug. Out of nowhere, the puffball begins to cough up a disgusting purple ooze... which it spits at Horui! Toxic! [result]18&18,1d20,0,18&1d20[/result] AC4 Badly Poisons |
