The island of Cinnabar is a small one, but its Trainers are notoriously tough. It's famous for having one of the strongest Gyms around, but the people are also quite hospitable. It's rumored that some research went on here once, but that's a rumor spread the robbers and vandals of the massive Mansion to the north... next to the active volcano. Pokemon Mart

Koffing is finished...but not without one *more* blow, having apparently been conscious during the previous attack. Woops. Koffing sails across the room... before being recalled, ending its rushes on a very low note. But not Merchant. Instincts kick in. Merchant tosses a ball... around a 90 degree corner. The backspin is intense... so intense, the whole ball whirlpools around Lickitung B several times, before launching itself into the Pokemon's mouth, into its stomach, and capturing it from the inside. (21/Hardy/46 HP/Own Tempo, Lunchbox) Lickitung C is not afraid. It curbstomps Karpy! Poor Karpy cannot manage all the hits, and stops flopping around. It retreats back to its pokeball, and is replaced by its far more vicious brother, Basculin. Bayleef takes the offense , and sends a stream of leaves at the Lickitungs. [result]3&3,1d20,0,3&1d20[/result] [result]32&6:3:2,3d6,21,32&3d6+21[/result] Grass physical damage Merchant hurls another ball. Can't have too many lickitungs, right? THE RETCONNIEST OF RETCONS Merchant seems to be suffering from an complete neural meltdown. Lickitung B uses Knock Off on Bayleef [result]15&15,1d20,0,15&1d20[/result] [result]25&3:2,2d6,20,25&2d6+20[/result] Lickitung C uses Knock Off on Basculin, and moves toward the stairs after attacking! [result]17&17,1d20,0,17&1d20[/result] [result]30&6:4,2d6,20,30&2d6+20[/result] Lickitung D ducks back behind the rubble, preparing for another potshot. |

Well now it's actually time to retcon those damages since I might be KO'd. Basculin jumps backwards with its impressive flopping skills, and attempts to scare away the lickitungs. [result]8&1:2:2,3d6,3,8&3d6+3[/result] |

Basculin is not very intimidating. (Focus 6 6 4) Thankfully, these Licktung are all complete dumbasses! They take the opportunity to bolt, disappearing into the junk piles on the far side of the room. EXP
