Theme Music is now mandatory

The torches lining the gravelly passageway abruptly stop, but the cavernous passageway is still seemingly lit. After a minute of shuffling, the source becomes obvious: bio-luminescent crystals are growing in the wall! They are small and round, but give off great amounts of light. The passage carries on for a while under this crystal light, but finally opens up into a bigger room.

The room in question is somewhat round and appears centralized, as two other passages split out the back wall and the right wall. The walls are not far from each other, ceiling is rather low, and there is no decor to be had. A few chests line the left wall, but most are open and obviously empty. A few barrels of gear, similar to the factory, sit next to the back passage's entrance. The back passage also is lined with wooden supports, to suggest the look of a mining operation.

Jones nods. "I think I can put together that kind of scratch once we're out of here. Oh, if you go that way," he gestures back the way he and Owen had come form, "There's a mining team of Sawk and a single Throh at a dead-end with an indentation. They're not hostile. I don't suppose you've come across anything the shape and approximate size of a pokeball down here have you?" Jones' eyes suddenly light with a bit of cunning. "I also have an opportunity for you, if you're interested."

Merchant pulls out the golden nugget.

"Only this and many pokemon. What is this opportunity?"
He listens intently to what money might be made.

"I'll tell, you, for a promise of a twenty-five percent cut of whatever you find, including first pick on one item should the find be non-monetary first." Jones is looking cagey now.

Merchant pauses. This seems like less of an opportunity and more of someone wanting part of his work.

"Information is valuable, but it is not that valuable. Merchant expects to find this opportunity merely by continuing the pathway. Immaterial transactions are too risky to wager promises on. "

"Okay, fine, first pick on any of the items you find from my tip, for one single item. How's that?"

"Merchant is unsure about making contracts without full knowledge. He will do his exploring first before making information debts. Merchant does not go back on agreements, and thus does not like immaterial transactions. Merchant will let you know if he is unable to find any leads."

The masked man is clearly uneasy about such an unclear deal. It was just too difficult to put a price on information before its sold.

Jones sighs and runs his hands through his hair. "Fair enough. Um, before we part ways, where did you come from before you got here?"

Merchant gestures backwards.
"Factory. Spoke with Muscleman, optimized his blueprints for the gold piece. Perhaps he has more...Merchant may investigate that further in the future."

With a quick bow, Merchant takes his leave, going deeper into the tunnel.

After a little while of walking, Merchant comes upon the fork, noticing an arrow pointing to the left path etched into the ground.

"What an odd man," Owen noted as the merchant scurried off. "Is he always like that?" Keeping pace with Jones, he glanced back down the other fork as they passed it. "Should we find Stefan and tell him we're going back, or just head straight to this factory?"
