Theme Music is now mandatory The torches lining the gravelly passageway abruptly stop, but the cavernous passageway is still seemingly lit. After a minute of shuffling, the source becomes obvious: bio-luminescent crystals are growing in the wall! They are small and round, but give off great amounts of light. The passage carries on for a while under this crystal light, but finally opens up into a bigger room. The room in question is somewhat round and appears centralized, as two other passages split out the back wall and the right wall. The walls are not far from each other, ceiling is rather low, and there is no decor to be had. A few chests line the left wall, but most are open and obviously empty. A few barrels of gear, similar to the factory, sit next to the back passage's entrance. The back passage also is lined with wooden supports, to suggest the look of a mining operation. Jones shrugs. "It could be that they were bred specifically for this purpose by whoever built the Pyramid originally. This place has some crazy effects on the pokemon we've found so far too. Who knows what kind of effects this place has had on their mental development." |

As the new picks break, the Throh turns around and sees the embossed pick. He swiftly discards the broken sticks, and snatches the pick out of Jones's hand, turning back to the wall. With one mighty swing, the Throh strikes the cave wall, splitting it wide open! The rock and dirt falls to reveal a solid brick wall, with a small groove about halfway up it. The groove looks like it has a hole, about six inches in diameter. The Throh turns back to the trainers, and Kindle jumps up and down at the earthy scent that comes from directly in front. |

The insectoid onslaught leaves the Sandile brutally injured, and it rolls back a bit into the divot. The other two Sandile can be spied at the bottom of the divot, which is circular, like a giant ant-lion pit. Curiously, this whole divot appears to be made of sand instead of rock. The two Sandile reach the center of the divot, and squeeze into a little hole in the center... |

Stefan hurls a pokeball at the injured sandile and recalls Porcino, leaving Krieger between the pit and the trainer. He was perplexed by the sudden retreat. Those jaws were potent. Great Ball [result]17&17,1d20,0,17&1d20[/result] [result]1&1,1d100,0,1&1d100[/result] -15. |

"Ah, I simply adore puzzles! This is marvelous." Owen leaned closer to get a better look, then gave a side-glance to the Throh. "I'd be perfectly willing to aid you, but... if you need help finding something that's missing," he added cheerfully, "perhaps you'd deign to travel with us while we search? That way we can be sure we get it right." ---------------- Perception [result]9&1:1:4,3d6,3,9&3d6+3[/result] Charm [result]9&2:2:4,3d6,1,9&3d6+1[/result] |

The injured Sandile is snared! (Level 13, Curious, 9 HP, Paralyzed, 2 Injuries) A bunch of sand seems to fall into the center hole as the ground rumbles, shaking Stefan's legs... suddenly, something bursts out of the center of the divot; it looks like a Rhyhorn...? The Throh nods. Seems like something is supposed to go there; something that's obviously missing. Strange that a brick wall would be buried under all this, though. |
