Theme Music is now mandatory

The torches lining the gravelly passageway abruptly stop, but the cavernous passageway is still seemingly lit. After a minute of shuffling, the source becomes obvious: bio-luminescent crystals are growing in the wall! They are small and round, but give off great amounts of light. The passage carries on for a while under this crystal light, but finally opens up into a bigger room.

The room in question is somewhat round and appears centralized, as two other passages split out the back wall and the right wall. The walls are not far from each other, ceiling is rather low, and there is no decor to be had. A few chests line the left wall, but most are open and obviously empty. A few barrels of gear, similar to the factory, sit next to the back passage's entrance. The back passage also is lined with wooden supports, to suggest the look of a mining operation.

Stefan is greeted with the Sawk. They seem to be taking a break again.

Stefan waves to them, then indicates the spherical hole.

"Shall we?"

Merchant nods, ready for Stefan to open the door. He releases Persian, just in case, though it seems far more interested in sniffing at the Sawk then the wall that the humans are messing with.

Stefan takes the golden apricorn, his grip wrapped around Gram, and places the golden apricorn into the receptacle. He takes a few steps back and waits.

The receptacle reacts to the Apricorn, and begins glowing a bright red light. This light flows through some sigils on the doors, rumbling as it does. Some dust and gravel falls from the rumbling door as the Throh wakes up from a nap, observing from the wall with his arms crossed. The Sawk follow his lead, observing far from the big stone doors.

Eventually, the glowing stops; the golden Apricorn crumbles into dust almost immediately and dissipates. The stone doors crack open ever so slightly, and a cool breeze flows from between the crack.

Stefan, without hesitation, squeezes between the crack to the new adventure awaiting beyond.

Merchant waits, allowing Stephen to enter through a few seconds ahead of Merchant, more than happy for his meatshield friend to explore the room first.

As soon as it becomes apparent Stephen isnt about to be riddled with arrows or other traps, Merchant follows with Persian.

The two explorers squeeze into the room... it's completely dark. Of course, this isn't a problem with Darkvision Goggles!

Strapping on some goggles lets them see a flock of Zubat on the ceiling. It looks like they've been there for a while. One seems to fidget a little; soon, ALL OF THEM explode out further down the tunnel, making all sorts of horrible noise.

The gaggle of Sawk peek in curiously.

Merchant jumps back at the sudden movement, loosening up as the bats go the other direction. He turns back to the curious Sawk.

"This way will be highly dangerous, but highly rewarding. Any of you brave enough, join me."

Merchant holds out a pokeball to the Sawk.

"Of course, Merchant understands if you are content with your calm labor here..."

Merchant's goading is far from subtle, but the point gets across.

Stefan, while preferring Merchants approach to capturing sensitive Pokemon, still scoffs. They didn't need another gang of fighting Pokemon knocking down the front door or chasing them perilously deep into the pyramid.

Adjusting his goggles and stashing his mask, he follows the zubat into the depths.
