Theme Music is now mandatory The torches lining the gravelly passageway abruptly stop, but the cavernous passageway is still seemingly lit. After a minute of shuffling, the source becomes obvious: bio-luminescent crystals are growing in the wall! They are small and round, but give off great amounts of light. The passage carries on for a while under this crystal light, but finally opens up into a bigger room. The room in question is somewhat round and appears centralized, as two other passages split out the back wall and the right wall. The walls are not far from each other, ceiling is rather low, and there is no decor to be had. A few chests line the left wall, but most are open and obviously empty. A few barrels of gear, similar to the factory, sit next to the back passage's entrance. The back passage also is lined with wooden supports, to suggest the look of a mining operation. Jones nods in thanks, rising to his feet and looking over to Reya. "Time to make another unplanned change of direction." He grins. "I seem to be leading you on quite the merry chase. But hey, means you get to see more of the Pyramid." |

These gentlemon were suprisngly industrious. A relic of the builders no doubt. The orb the foreman shows is much smoother than the little meteorb, it probably wouldn't fit. "Ya think we could find it in the greenhouse? |

"Actually before we go looking for the apricorn itself, I thought we should see if any of these might be in storage somewhere. There's a Conkeldurr in the Steam Factories that may know something. Luckily, it's not that far off." Jones pockets the stone pokeball. |

"Really? Aren't Conkldurr normally rather aggressive? Although these miners seem friendly enough. Maybe they're descendants of Pokemon that helped build this..." She lapses into silence for a moment lost in ancient theory. "Right lets be off then. We won't find it standing about." She waves good bye as they head towards the Steam Factories. |

Jones shrugs. "The Smith is fairly easygoing so long as you're respectful I've found." So saying, he'll lead the way. |

Stefan leads the Colonel into the first chamber, indicating the crystals on the walls. "Jones and I have already taken the loosest ones, the rest of them are stuck in there pretty well." He then gestures towards the pair of exits. "I've gone down the right hallway. Ends up dropping into a trash heap of some sort. There's a door on the other side, but I'm not certain where it leads. Jones went down the left once, but I don't know much about what he found." |

"Hmm, sounds like a good opportunity for adventure!" Barnaby takes a closer look at one of the crystals, whispering 'marvelous' to himself. Looking around the room, he spots the barrel of picks and acquires one of the stored objects. "I'm a bit of a fitness buff myself; years of catching up to wild pokemon you know!. Surely one of these crystals can't be too out of reach for a stronger physique. It would certainly make for a good flashlight! Which I forgot to buy... hmm..." The colonel looks around the room for a moment, looking for one about shoulder-height for him and at a downwards angle. If found, he'll strike the rock wall directly above the crystal in an attempt to break the stone around and jar his prize loose. The Colonel finds a nice sample crystal... and with a mighty heave, he snaps a wholly intact crystal spike from the wall! Neat! |

Barnaby slides the pick onto his belt and nabs the crystal. "Well then, shall we move forward? Lead the way!" |

"Well, I was hoping you would make that choice. Let's head left, though. I've no idea what lays down that way." Humming to himself, he follows his own decision through. |
