Theme Music is now mandatory The torches lining the gravelly passageway abruptly stop, but the cavernous passageway is still seemingly lit. After a minute of shuffling, the source becomes obvious: bio-luminescent crystals are growing in the wall! They are small and round, but give off great amounts of light. The passage carries on for a while under this crystal light, but finally opens up into a bigger room. The room in question is somewhat round and appears centralized, as two other passages split out the back wall and the right wall. The walls are not far from each other, ceiling is rather low, and there is no decor to be had. A few chests line the left wall, but most are open and obviously empty. A few barrels of gear, similar to the factory, sit next to the back passage's entrance. The back passage also is lined with wooden supports, to suggest the look of a mining operation. Stefan pockets the pokeball. Another unique Pokemon, again, weaker than Krieger. Any of them could make solid companions, but tradition dictated that he must continue to focus on his aron. It seemed such a shame to sell or trade them, but that seemed to be their destiny. He glances around the room, looking for another potential exit. Stefan approaches the hole, Krieger cautiously padding along. The sandile had run down there, but they had fled from them and were hopefully too stupid to lay an ambush. He sizes up the hole and attempts to lower himself through it. It had been big enough for the rhyhorn, after all. |

Merchant takes his chances with the unexplored path, and a short while down the path, it opens up into another circular room. This one looks like another hub room, similar to the one at the entrance, with a few barrels of gear and chests. All are empty, unfortunately. Two more paths, left and right, are available, with wooden supports on both. A cool breeze flows out of the path on the right, while the left path pushes a gross smell. Stefan lowers himself into the hole... which has no discernible bottom. He begins to fall... (Athletics) |

Stefan's wiggling helps a little, and grinding against the falling sand cushions his fall slightly; it was still hard though, and he suffers [result]4&4,1d5,0,4&1d5[/result] damage. The sand pit apparently dumps into a room full of wooden debris and iron scrap; this must be some kind of trash pit for broken parts. The room is lit like the halls above, and there's a single door on one side. The cool breeze quickly turns into a frigid wind as Merchant moves down the tunnel, and the rock walls turn from a dark brown to a light, limestone color. The tunnel soon opens into what could only be described as a sauna, but with cold air instead of hot air. The room, a medium-sized square, is lined with stone benches, and has a massive chunk of dry ice in the center, with the light crystals lining the top of the room. Three little white bears - Cubchoo - are laying on the benches, half-asleep. |

A trash pit? Seriously? That will teach me to go poking around strange holes. Well, the other two sandiles should be around here somewhere. Stefan uses his pokeball to assist Krieger's descent, and then kicks aside some of the rubbish for anything that might catch his eye. It was entirely possible that these Pokemon might have discarded something they didn't see the value in. Chewing on a mouthful of unidentifiable scrap, Krieger assists, nudging some debris away, and the two spend a few minutes searching before they would grow bored and open the door.
