Fir stands in the center of the chamber, eyeing the hall leading into the Antechamber. Several minutes after the lanterns flicker on for the day, the Caravan rolls in, and with it, a gaggle of three fresh recruits! "Alright, we here. Welcome to the camp." the buff Caravan Master says. "Now get off, I don't like playin' taxi." |

Stefan, having done his usual early-morning training, rolls out of the cot and checks the shops and is delighted to find paralyze heals in stock. He does some quick shopping as the caravan rolls in, then approaches it casually. There were three new faces, older than the kids yesterday. He waits for someone else, perhaps Fir, to say something. Jones stretches as he emerges from his tent, yawning widely. Behind him are Inferno and Digger, both of them looking bright-eyed and somehow fiercer than the last time they'd been let out. Spotting the Caravan, he smiles, ducks back into his tent and retrieves the sword that he'd found yesterday, as well as the stones he had promised Merchant. Shouldering the blade, he'll approach the caravan, but wait for Fir to make introductions alongside Stefan. |

Inei gets off the vehicle and marches off, ahead of the others, to the person named Fir. He had been informed of this man ahead, at least that he was leading this operation and was responsible for a lot of it. Inei steps up to the researcher, extending a hand. "Kage Inei, Staff Sergeant of the Army Rangers. I was informed that there is some more exploring to be done?" |

"Awe, did Scamp ruin the enjoyment of our company? Bad Scampers." Elise replied the to the Caravan's master as she hopped out of the wagon. Taking a quick look around Elise shrugs to no one in particular, Not the worst place the boss has sent me that's for sure, although quite possibly the dustiest. Come on Brute I'm sure there are introductions to be made, then I'm sure we can go find something that would likely make a decent target for you to hit a couple of times." At her beckoning a grumpy little Cubone emerged, fairly average looking for his species with the exception that the skull adorning his head was pitch black. Merchant watches the newcomers on the Caravan. None of them seemed TOO well off, but a customer is a customer. "Good day newcomes! Merchant invites you to stop by his tent, where he offers a number of goods and services, including Breeding, Cloning, False Swipe Tutoring, faster hatching, and Pokeball Repair. He also has Pokemon, eggs, and Pokeballs for sale cheaper than can be found anywhere else! Merchant can also assist each of you in making money by acting as a middleman or renting certain Pokemon for breeding." His spiel done, Merchant returns to his tent to wait for Jones and any potential new customers. |

Jones will pass the two completed evolution stones off to Merchant as he heads back to the tent. "There you go, as promised." Once he's handed the stones off, he'll approach the caravan master. "Hello again sir. I've got another offer for you. Not pokemon this time though." He unlimbers the sword and then offers it to the man, hilt first. "Found this artifact down in the ruins. Fir wasn't too keen on purchasing it, but I thought that a man of your discerning eye may see its value." |

Stefan watches the group carefully. They were clearly approved by Fir, but he didn't like the idea of more competition. . . Or more nights of waiting on some amateur to drag themselves out of the cave. Merchant was right to advertise his shop, though. New people meant a chance for trades. He wasn't brazen enough to follow suit, though, and could only leave it to luck to lead them to his little sign. He, too, leaves the scene and makes his way to the front door, erasing the "tomorrow" from this sign. |

"Hello, newcomers," the leader says as he approaches the three coming off the wagon. "I'm Fir, leader of this expedition, and blah blah blah you guys probably already know what this whole project is." Fir points at the original party of explorers, gathering behind him. "We're doing the research part. As for the adventuring part, you should talk to these guys to learn more. They've actually been down in the chambers, and probably have some good stories for you. They will tell you how we operate, about the trade-ins for artifacts, all that good stuff. For the most part, you can trust them." Fir's eyes glaze over Merchant as he retreats into his tent. "Other than that, if you have any questions, let me know, otherwise you're good to go. Come back before midnight, or you're locked in." The caravan master initially dismisses Jones, but then spies the blade on his shoulder. "Damn, lemme see that bad boy!" He takes the sword, carefully inspecting the blade. "Good construction, nice forging... basic handle, but the craftsmanship makes that forgivable. If I had to put a price on it... I'd peg it at [result]1145&14:36:48:25:22,5d50,1000,1145&5d50+1000[/result], rounding up. But that's just a guess." His Tauros moo with excitement. |
